Great Family Vacation!!
This home was perfect for our annual family Christmas trip! The location right at the basketball courts was a dream for our teens. It was in walking distance to all of the recreation areas. The house was clean and roomy and had everything we needed. We had 5 adults, 2 teens, and a baby and we had plenty of room. The view from the porch was perfect for sunrise and sunset. If you are considering this home, we would definitely say Book It! We liked it so much, we plan to stay next year!

Beach stay
The house could really use some upgrades. All of the mattresses were awful except for the king room. I was told there would be plenty of things for cooking and there was not. There was no dawn soap or soap for handwashing no dishwater pods and no toilet paper. We all had to make our own beds, which i thought was odd. The shower curtain was old and falling off the hangers. THe house was at a great location except when the cops would shut down the streets. It was odd that at 11 we had to stop playing music and go in. Like I didn't really spend 5k on the vacation house and we have to go in at 11. We had a great time! Paula from Oklahoma

In major need of a upgrade and Cleaning
1st we booked last November 22 and in March 23 she said she had over booked so luckily we was all able to pick and get off work another week. This house is outdated ,it was nasty when we arrived it has mold in the down stairs bathroom. Major dust everywhere. On the walls , ceiling, cabinets, windows, blinds. Every where you looked it was dust. This didn’t happen over a weeks time. Bathrooms was nasty, bed blankets was nasty , went and bought new blankets. This hasn’t been cleaned for a while. The carpet had so much sand on it. The deck has so many holes and places where it’s coming up you’ll see nails everyday on the ground near your car where they are falling out of the deck.Someone’s going to fall thur or off the deck. A few pickets is lose. We had young kids and was scared they would fall off or thur the deck. The smoke detectors are as old as the house. Probably don’t even work no more. A few outlets are loose, washer and dryer is junk and so old. The owner Or property manager will not respond to text messages. Would not recommend this property. The location was Great is about the only positive thing I can say about it.

We love this house!
This house was perfect for our family! We had 5 adults and 7 kids that ranged from 4-17. Sleeping arrangements were perfect, the pictures don’t show the 5th bedroom but it has 2 queen beds. 3 full bathrooms was plenty for all of us to share. One of the things we kept saying all week was we couldn’t believe how hot the water got and never ran out with that many of us! (May have a tankless hot water heater but didn’t see it) Either way, everyone always had hot showers which I didn’t expect! The house was very clean and has plenty of kitchen ware to cook meals. The location of the house was perfect for us bc it is directly across from the basketball courts and next to the playground and we didn’t have to drive the golf cart to the beach with all of our stuff. We walked over and set everything up and walked back to get anything else. The host was quick to get back with us when we needed something and helped us greatly with a hiccup in our check in. We would love to stay again in the future!!!

Annual Myrtle Beach Trip Success!
Our large family travels to Myrtle Beach each year with friends of ours who also have a large family. We have only stayed on the opposite side of the campground in the past but switched if up this year, staying at Sunofabeach. It was wonderful! Katie was a pleasure to communicate with and very helpful. The house was large enough for both families to share meals and spend time together; and the location was perfect. We were able to allow kids to roam from the playground to the basketball court and see them from the deck. Nevermind the fact we were as close as you could get to the beach. We had no need for a golfcart. The house had everything we needed from kitchen necessities to linens. Katie mentioned their plans to update the house; we hope to return to see what that looks like and enjoy another vacation at Ocean Lakes!

AMAZING location!
This house has everything we wanted, & or needed! We had two families stay for a total of 11 people. There was plenty of room for everyone we weren't crowded at all. The balconies are wonderful and perfect for watching the sunrise. Ocean Lakes is a great community where we feel comfortable letting our children go off without us in groups. We are already working on booking this house for next summer and hope to continue to do so for many more years.

Location was great for teens and people watching. Owner was quick to respond to messages. Overall property could use some updates but acceptable and beds were comfortable. Super close walk to beach and kitch had everything we needed.
