Welcome to Bear Haven Cabin! Our 4 bedroom cabin is located in the heart of the award winning *Gold Star Certified* Big Bass Lake gated community in the Pocono Mountains. Our guests will enjoy three lakes of fishing (small engine boats allowed), indoor/outdoor heated pools, splash pad, playground, clubhouse w/ fire pit, kayak rentals, and beach. Winter activities include snow tubing, ice skating, and a ski bunny hill within the community! Ski slopes and indoor water parks are ~20-30 mins away

Imagine returning to your secluded cabin after a fun day of skiing or fishing at Big Bass Lake. You sit in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine or mug of hot cocoa. As you wake up the following day, you are welcomed by two deer glancing right back at you in Bear Haven’s Great Room. Stay local and enjoy the amenities in Big Bass Lake’s resort-like community. Or rather, maybe you decide to take a hike at the Gouldsboro State Park, visit America’s largest indoor waterpark (Kalahari is only 20 minutes away), or shop till you drop at the Crossings Outlets. Live life to its fullest because after all, it’s your vacation!!!

It was a good time. House was clean but a little out dated. Some small things didn't work ex: outdoor lights, and fire pit but all in all a nice place.

Lovely two week stay
We stayed at Bear Haven Cabin for about two weeks, and had a wonderful time. The house has some lovely features, notably the great room, which gets excellent light. We enjoyed kayaking at Big Bass lake, hanging out by the pool, grilling on the deck, and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The owners were very responsive to our requests & questions, often getting back to us in just a few minutes. Definitely recommend.

Birthday Weekend
We had a great stay for my daughter's 16th birthday. The house was exactly what we needed for our family. The game room was awsome!! The amenities that were offered were great would definitely plan to stay longer since alot of the amenities are a distance from the house. The houses was equipped with everything we needed. Everyone in our party enjoyed our weekend.

Haven full of bears
The cabin was filled with plenty of indoor entertainment for our rainy stay. Even when staying inside, there's still lots of space and fun to be had. Great place to book even if you're indoors-y.

Bear Haven Big Bass Lake
At first had major issue within 3 hours of being in house but have to say hosts responded immediately and worked with me through the issue so the long weekend would not be ruined. Within 12 hours problem was fully resolved. Hosts are great people and easy to work with and very reasonable. Overall im very happy with the bear haven and we had a great time.

Beautiful house with everything you will all need for a get away.
Beautiful house with everything you will all need for a getaway with families, friends and kids. Marie and Peter ensured that we are comfortable and aware of how to operate things easily. Great experience at Bear Haven Cabin
This was our first trip to the Poconos and we absolutely loved the cabin. Clean and beautiful, just as advertised. My kids loved the game room with arcades. We couldn’t get them to leave! The kitchen was well stocked and Marie answered right away when we asked for activity suggestions. Marie showed that she cares for her guests. My daughter fell in love with one of the stuffed animals in the kids room and Marie gave it to her as a gift! We would definitely visit again

Hello there! My wife (Marie) and I thank you for your interest in Bear Haven Cabin. I (Peter) am originally from Long Island, NY while Marie is from Trinidad and Tobago. We currently live in the sunny Florida Keys and loving every minute of it! Our pride and joy is our 5 year old, Gabriel. We cant forget our furbabies; Calum (golden doodle 🐕) and Sophie (labradoodle 🐩 ). I will apologize in advance for my corny Engineering humor : )

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Back in 2021, Gabriel was starting his first year of school (Pre-K). Gabe's new school schedule promped a wave of changes in our lives....which eventually lead the family to purchasing/managing Bear Haven Cabin 🐻 in the Pocono Mountains!

You may ask why we decided to manage a property almost 2000 miles away! Well, I have been visiting the Pocono Mountains my entire life and some of my fondest memories have been at Grandpa's Pocono cabin.

We have been blessed to purchase a huge 4 bedroom cabin in award winning *Gold Star Certified* Big Bass Lake in the heart of the Pocono mountains. I was excited to learn that BBL has 3 lakes for fishing, indoor/outdoor heated pools, splash pad, playground, rec center with clubhouse, gym, hiking park, and even a restaurant. Winter amenities include snow tubing, ice skating, and the sled hill WITHIN THE COMMUNITY! What sold my wife on the property was that the exclusive gated community has security 24/7.

Location, location, location! We also selected Big Bass Lake community because it is centrally located for guests to enjoy the best activities in the Poconos. Our location will allow you to visit 3 different ski slopes within a 30 minute drive. One of the best Indoor Water Parks in the Country (Kalahari) is only 20 minutes away as well. Camelback water park, Great Wolf Lodge, Jack Frost/Big Boulder ski resort, kayaking, whitewater rafting.....the Poconos have it all!

Well, I cant finish our description of Bear Haven Cabin without talking about the house itself. My better half designed a cute bear theme for the spacious cabin....right down to bear toilet paper holders! My main responsibility was the creation of the game room :)
We have 4 arcades (NBA Jam, PacMan, The Simpsons, and Marvel v. Capcom), glow in the dark foosball table, poker table, ping pong, board games, and even games for the little ones. Thank you for reading. We are looking forward to you and your family making memories at Bear Haven Cabin 🐻
