Stone’s Throw Vermont is a charming 3bed 1.5 bath cottage with hot tub, fireplace, outdoor covered dinning space, and more. Conveniently located near everything you’ll want to see and do in central Vermont and placed right on the US-4 corridor; you’re 2 minutes from the Killington Ski Resort’s Skyship Ski Gondola escorting you to the world class amenities of Killington Resort, 5 min from experiencing some of the best craft beer in the region at Long Trail Brewery, 10 min to Echo Lake, and 15 min from the shops and cafes of Woodstock, VT. Truly everything is a stone’s throw away.
Here are some further essentials to know about our cottage.
PARKING
There is enough space for 2 cars. The driveway can be intimidating for some drivers. Committing to some speed whilst going up the driveway is strongly recommended. Also 4 wheel drive in the winter is a must. When pulling away, I suggest backing into my neighbors driveway so you can drive down the driveway forward facing vs backing down the driveway in reverse ... which is not safe and could cause control issues.
TRASH
A dumpster as the bottom of the driveway is where you should place all trash during your stay. Key for the dumpster is located on the moose hook by the doorway. Please make sure that the padlock is re-secured after each time you open it.
SEPTIC SYSTEM
The cottage is serviced by a septic system and as such please do not flush not put down the drain anything that could damage the system including grease, paper towel, feminine hygiene products, or anything else that could damage the system.
CLEANING
I ask that you aim to leave the house in the shape you found it to the best you can. Some cleaning supplies are in the kitchen under the sink. My cleaners would greatly appreciate a tidy and respectful guest. If you can also strip the beds you use before you leave so the cleaner knows what laundry they need to do.
SMOKING / DRUGS
There is absolutely NO smoking or drug use allowed. A deep cleaning charge of $300 will be assessed if evidence of smoking (smell or waste).
PARTIES
Absolutely no parties are allowed. The house is limited to only 6 guests.
EXTERIOR CAMERAS
The house has exterior cameras for your safety and that of the host. Interfering with or altering the security camera(s) will result in a $500 charge.
SMART LOCKS
The house is equipped with smart locks on the front and back door for your protection and that of the host. Please ensure that you lock them on departure. Interfering or altering the lock(s) in any way will result in a $500 charge.
DECK
You have access to the back deck throughout your stay featuring a hot tub and grill area. For your safety, please stay within the railing
FIREPLACE
Great source of heat and ambiance for your stay. Please make sure to not touch as it is radiant. There is a mesh guard around it for your protection and for young ones curious fingers. But note that using it requires common sense and is done so at your own risk.
HOT TUB
Make sure to shower before entering and after using to protect the tub, linens, and furniture. Make sure also to dry off after exiting as our floors are water resistant not water proof . Use of the hot tub is at your own risk.

This property is newly renovated in 2021 taken all the way down to the studs and rebuilt to purposely serve short term guests. The house is close to the many of the attractions of central Vermont.

Outdoor dining table and grill under a covered deck.
