Public boat access is minutes away. The Jackson County Park access is 4.8 mi. Downtown Scottsboro w/ shopping and Unclaimed Baggage is less than 4 mi.
Fully equipped kitchen. The outdoor living will be set by spring. Corn hole, Horse shoes, Redneck Golf, Fire Pit, BBQ

Graveside memorial for my husband

It was perfect for us, large enough for us to be together but also gave us places to have alone time. A few confessions, one of the rocking chairs on the sun porch has broken seat. Also when we had the reception it was so hot, the catering people felt it would’ve been unsafe to leave the food on the porch and most of guest were elderly. So we moved into family room and used the counters in the kitchen. I will pay more if you would like but felt it was unsafe to remain outside. We did no damage that I could see and cleaned up on Sunday. Also on Sunday afternoon because one of us had cold symptoms, we got COVID test and 3 of us were positive. All three were sleeping upstairs and isolated up there until we left this morning. I thought your cleaning people might need to know. Last confession we didn’t get out until about 10:20. We loved your place. Let us know if I need to compensate you for anything.

Comfortable and convenient

Roomy and comfortable for the nine of us tho surprised at sofa bed in living area. Otherwise, beds were good. The undependable dishwasher and lack of dishes was inconvenient tho dish situation was understandable. Decor was charming! Enjoyed our communications, Mary.

Fishing Trip

10 friends on a 10 day fishing trip/ tournament… the property was perfect, clean, easy access to all stores/ restaurants. If we come back I already know where we wanna stay! Owners were very hospitable and very caring! Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved the home, so many areas to play games, do group projects and eat and talk. So close to shopping and good eating. It was great for a Girls Weekend! The only problem we had was the TV. Nothing was wrong on the listing, we just did not see the part about Roku. None of us knew how to work Roku, it took us a good long time to figure that out. And of course we never figured out how use one of our accounts to watch movies. Lovely place.

Timberland lodge

A wonderful place and a super good time. No t.v.s in bedroom so kids put their phones and electronics down and played games. ( a lot to choose from ). 12 of us and we were all very comfortable. The house had almost everything you could think ou. Just bring your clothes and if want to cook or BBQ some food although they are wonderful restraurants nearby also. Shopping, thrifting. Museums, state parks, waterfalls all around. The house was very easy to find. The owners are wonderful. Thank you....

A dream stay!

I cannot say enough good things about this property or the owners. Wow! Plenty of space, comfortable beds, every amenity you could ever need! The attention to detail was out of this world. Our favorite part was arriving and the house was decorated for Christmas! Just beautiful!!!! I would recommend this house to anyone. You’re in for a treat.

Perfect place for our small ladies retreat!

The lodge is chocked full of love and memories. It is evident that much thought and care have been taken to provide a quiet retreat away from daily responsibilities. Our group really enjoyed gathering around the fire ring to worship and spend time together. The fall weather and the backyard provided an incredible backdrop for a wonderful weekend away. Even though you are just minutes away from local shopping, you feel like you have gotten away from it all. And the kitchen and rooms were stocked with everything that you would need. we would definitely come back!

Great cozy place

Great cozy place to spend family functions or just get away. Came to Scottsboro for a baseball tournament on wife’s birthday so I rented this amazing place to surprise her for her birthday and had her family there when we showed up. The house has a lot of great decorations inside and out.

College Fishing Trip

This was a perfect house to stay in for me and several other people who were all fishing a college tournament on Sunday. The location was perfect and easily fit 4 boats and trucks. We had plenty of room for all of our gear too. Highly recommend.

Timber Retreat

Great Place for Family Gathering

My wife and I stayed recently with our son, daughter-in-law and 2 granddaughters. We were visiting other family in Scottsboro. The location was very convenient to all of them. The house was very clean and comfortable. The owners did a wonderful job with the recent renovations. Mary was very responsive from our initial inquiry thru the entire stay. Highly recommend.
