Relax and unwind as you take in the fresh mountain air. Where all the luxuries of your home sweet home intertwine with our warm cabin-esque centrally located ski and lake lodge. Offering 1904 sqft with plenty of space to spread out, or join together. Family-friendly, as we have kiddos of our own, so no detail has been left out to keep the whole family happy and safe.

Guests will have access to the entire property including 3 separate patios, 2 car garage, hot tub and indoor laundry room with new washer/dryer. Propane is provided for the BBQ grill and fire pit. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook/grill, just as you would at home. All new black stainless steel appliances and a dual temp wine fridge! The hot tub is available for guests to use (children only allowed with direct adult supervision), and the garage is available with remote access for guest use as well. There is one locked closet for housekeeping supplies, and one locked storage area (underneath the home) for owners personal belongings.

We have plenty of board games, puzzles, card games, 2 TVs (one in upstairs living room and the other in downstairs den) with Netflix, Disney+, etc. There is also a Wii in the den with limited games. Some blocks for toddlers to play, as well as child safety knobs/outlet covers are stored in the side drawer of the bunk bed to keep the littlest ones safe during your stay. There is also a gate on the main floor blocking off the stairway down to the den that can be kept latched for safety.

Cozy getaway

We loved this cabin, and it felt like home away from home during a series of storms. They view out the windows, while sitting by the fire was lovely.The hosts make an effort to ensure the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfortable and towels were fluffy.Overall, we really enjoyed the trip!

Great family friendly cabin!

We had a lovely trip and enjoyed everything from the super comfortable beds and stocked supplies in the kitchen to the kids toys, bunk beds and hot tub! It was a great amount of space for our two families with 4 Kids ranging from age 3-8

Nice stay in the area but not ready for families

Really great location and overall size, but some key amenities we were looking forward to were not working as expected - the fire place was broken, the hot tub only went to 98 degrees and it took over 7 hours to heat the place to room temp the first night, which is hard when you have small children. It would have been MUCH better if the host provided us checkin instructions at least 2-4 joys BEFORE checkin, not 2 hours after checkin time when we had to request it. Also they did not warn us about the broken fire place until after we messaged them, which may have changed our decision to book. Finally they ignored our questions about how to heat up the hot tub so not sure if it ever goes to the standard 104 setting. Otherwise. Everything else was cute and standard quality, but we would not call it luxury.

Loved staying in this beautiful cabin for our vacation. We had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space for 3 families. Grandkids loved playing the Wii. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. Beds were comfortable and linens were top notch. Would definitely visit again. Thank you!

Wonderful!

The host was exceptional! Cabin is perfect for 2 families, plus more if needed! Suited us well with babies, toddlers, and small children. Great beds, perfect sized bathrooms, plenty of room in living and kitchen for gatherings. We appreciate the great communication with the host, and her wonderful dining recommendations! We would love to stay here again!

College Besties Reunion

Six of us from our college freshmen year celebrated 45 years of friendship at this beautiful home nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. It was perfect with plenty of beds for all of us. Very comfortable and spacious living room and deck to gather. We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit on cool evenings. Would definitely recommend these accommodations for a large group!

SugarPine Getaway

Was a well needed getaway. House was exactly as described. This area is our go to spot, we come up this way atleast 2 to 3 times a year. This house was In a nice quiet area of town, yet close to things to do. The house itself was cozy and warm with a beautiful view from the deck with deers and blue birds. The owners where exceptional she responded to all our questions and needs. Thanks so much for the use of your home, we couldn't of asked for a better place to go and relax an get away from the everyday hustle.

Wonderful stay

We spend Thanksgiving weekend at this property. The host was very responsive and we had no trouble reaching the property. The view from the patio is very relaxing and the hot tub was a hit with the kids. The house was very clean with ample towels and linens provided. Each room had it's own air heater cooler so you can set personalized temperature as compared to other properties with central setting which always ends up some rooms too hot/cold. The kitchen has oven/pots/pans and gas bbq. We spend some time at Pinecrest lake and dodge ski resort which is 25minutes only from this property. Altogether it was a wonderful stay for our group of two families. I recommend this property to other families as well

Month in Twain Harte

We rented this house for a month in July and August, and throughly enjoyed the stay. The house was well appointed and had many of the amenities we needed to prepare meals and live comfortably. At one point we housed nine adults adequately. It was equally enjoyable when there were only two of us. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to the popular Alicia’s Sugar Shack. We spent many nights in the main room watching TV and on the deck enjoying the weather. The house is very convenient to Twain Harte which is an enjoyable town and good for casual dining. Twain Harte becomes quite lively on Saturday nights in the summer with music and lots of people. The location is also convenient for trips and hiking near Pinecrest Lake and Kennedy Meadows. Some of us spent time backpacking in the nearby Emigrant wilderness. It is about 20 mins to Sonora, a historic town where there are antique shops, general shopping and restaurants. We also went within an hour to Murphy’s, Arnold and Big Trees State Park, which provide additional shopping and great hiking. The hosts, Kelley and Chris, were extremely responsive and helped us with our requests. It is apparent they are attentive to the house as all amenities were well kept and organized. We would gladly stay again

Cozy Spot. Easy Access to Dodge Ridge.

We (3 adults, 3 kids) had a great time in this cozy cabin. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking all our meals. Beds were warm and super comfortable. Kids loved the bunk bed. Walking distance to a small mountain pond where the kids were able to explore and get some exercise. Easy access to Dodge Ridge and only 5 minutes away from grocery store in Twain Harte. Full size garage fit our large GMC Yukon. Keypad access meant that we didn't have to use any physical keys! Container of ice melting salt on the porch was super useful in melting slippery ice on the stairs to the front door. Minor "nits": Hot tub should be hot upon arrival; it took 24 hours to get to 99°F (it's top temp!). Owner said low temp was probably due to local power outage. Though the listing title starts with "Luxury" there wasn't anything I'd consider "luxurious" about the accommodations. Wii gaming system was listed in the description, but batteries in the controller were dead. Kitchen range doesn't have any lights over it so it's a little dark when cooking at the stove.

I’ll tell you what was easy and what we loved… the check in. The owner let us get an early check in to get some elves in before the kids to surprise them for Xmas. The owners were attentive and answered messages promptly. Our family is diverse and multi-generational. The house had something for everyone… games, toys, coffee, wine fridge, hot tub. The linen was cozy and the towels are soft. There was all the comforts of home, in this home away from home. We took the family to dodge ridge and the snow park, both within 25 min drive. We ordered pizza the night of skiing which was 10 min away. If this home is available the next time, we’re booking!

Perfect Family Retreat

I rented the cabin Labor Day week for a vacation with my family. My wife and I were joined by my children their spouses and 2 grandchildren. The cabin was a perfect place for our group. We enjoyed having dinner at the table on the deck. After dinner there were video games for the kids while the adults relaxed in the hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped so cooking was easy. There are 2 floors. The grandkids had a space of their own in the first floor den while the adults relaxed in the 2nd floor living room. During our stay there was an extreme heat wave that affected all of Northern California. Temperatures reached 104 degrees some days. Despite the heat we were very comfortable. At the cabin the air-conditioning kept us cool. Outside we stayed cool by going on easy hikes at higher altitudes. Up there the temperature was around 75 degrees with some cool breezes. There are hikes for all skill and fitness levels in the area. There was even a hike to a spectacular waterfall. Kelley, our host, provided everything we needed and made us feel welcomed.

Cream of the Crop

This is the best experience I’ve ever had renting a property. Just a gorgeous, spacious, extremely comfortable spot in beautiful area. The hosts were friendly and well anticipated all of our needs. We had 7 adults (it fits 12) and even the adults in “bunk beds” had nothing but good things to say about how comfortable the mattresses were. I’ll be telling my friends about this spot and hopefully coming up every chance I get. Only note would be is that we saw there is a beautiful tiny lake a few block away that required a membership to access, so it would be a nice bonus of the hosts could accommodate in the future so that we could swim or fish.

A perfect stay!

We loved this property the minute we walked in! Gorgeous windows in the back of the house, great lighting! It was spotless, so very clean! The kitchen was set up perfectly, we had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable with nice mattresses and decorated nicely! We would come back to this property every summer if possible! Perfect for two families!!!

Both the owner and the place are awesome.

Overall, we had excellent stayed, would give 9 out of 10. The owner prepared a big snacks basket and turn on the AC ahead to welcome us, what a lovely touch. Pros: *Owner is very easy to reach and very nice *Very clean everywhere *Bedroom mattresses are excellent, pillows are super soft(the way I like ), sheets are clean and nice. *many extra “well organized” bedding sheets in the closet in case needed *kitchen has everything you needed , pots and pans are nice and clean, just like new. *very easy access for food and supermarket . Within ten mins drive, you can get anything from the Twain Harte market, lots of variety and price for meats and groceries are about the same in Bay Area, what a bless. *WiFi is excellent. Cons: * the lighting in Living room, patio and downstair bedroom are kind of dark to us. *limit detergents for washer and dishwasher. For heavy user, need to bring extras. *house next to door is remodeling so there will have some noise in the morning before 8:00.

Comfy Twain Harte home

This property was as described in the listing - comfortable, roomy, and well equipped. We spent 9 days with our daughters and grandchildren here and had a wonderful time. There were 10 of us plus 3 infants and we still had plenty of room. The owners were responsive and easy to reach. The only thing that could have made it better was a pass to the lake. We love Pinecrest but It would have been nice to go to a beach nearby.
