College Visit

Our stay was overnight to visit the college. The home is older, well taken care of and beautifully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast items were appreciated. The home is exceptionally clean. One of the nicest we have stayed at. Thank you.

Amazing Stay!

No issues checking in early, very accommodating and sweet host. Home was very clean, host set out items for our use, living room had a wall full of toys for kids and board games and plenty of space for our party of 6. We will certainly return if we come down again. Thank you so much.

Extremely clean and warm!

Stayed for one night. Great location for Winona visit. Property was warm, cozy and clean. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms and nice family room. The addition of garage parking during a single digit temperature noght was great!

Nice stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Kim the host was very prompt on getting back with us on the questions we had. The location was great for us. The house was older but very clean and well stocked. It is on a busy street but the street noise wasn’t too bad. Overall great place to rent.

Super Clean

The house is super clean and welll stocked. Beds are very comfortable. Having a garage was very nice. The house is located near the lake and the park has very nice walking and biking paths. It is on a pretty busy street, but we really enjoyed our stay!

Above average. Very clean, well stocked. Having owners next door was a plus. I would suggest an easier to use lock box for first entry. Would definitely stay there again.

Shakespeare Weekend!

We enjoyed the house-worked great for our group of women who come to Winona annually for Shakespeare and southeastern MN adventures. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well-stocked (we prepare one dinner and Sunday Brunch and found everything we needed!),TV in the living room worked well as we watched parts of the Olympics. Information sheet was spot-on and easy to understand, etc. The lock-box at the front door was a little tricky but we eventually got in just fine!. We also appreciated being able to use the garage for our vehicle-thanks! The only thing we did not find was a box of Kleenex. We were a little nervous about possible noise from Sarnia/Franklin corner which can be a busy corner but didn't get too bothered at all by traffic noise. Thanks for a great stay. We may want to stay here again next year but we shall see as we have come down for our Shakespeare weekends on different dates each year so unknown at this time when we will come next year.

A nice place in Winona

Very pleasant, spacious house. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable. Excellent experience with communicating with the owners. A short walk to Lake Winona and Winona State University. Friendly locals when walking around. The only drawback is that the house is on a somewhat busy corner. Would come back to stay again.

Weekend in Winona Area

This is a wonderful property located in a great neighborhood in Winona. It had ALL of the conveniences you might need, and then some. It’s super clean and cozy. Absolutely perfect for 4-6 people, all at a VERY affordable price!! We would 100% stay here again, and would recommend this property to anyone who is planning a trip to the area!!

Quint home for overnight stay in Winona.

It served our purpose well which was to have a place to lay their heads close to Winona State University. Since we had 6 people it would have been costly to rent two hotel rooms, this was the perfect solution.

Cute, very clean house

We enjoyed our stay. Improvements would be to be able to open windows and have screens so bugs couldn't get in and have curtains to keep the sun out on mornings. Also, the second bathroom was downstairs which with our family wasn't accessible to all members staying there.

Wonderful Winona

We throughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage by the lake. It was bright, neat and extremely clean. Our host, Kim, made sure every amenity imaginable was provided. There was even a tray on the dining room table with breakfast goodies & milk in the refrigerator for the cereal! The cottage had a great layout and a garage door opener was provided so we could park in the garage. We absolutely loved our stay in Winona & hope to visit again! I highly recommend Kim & her Cottage by the Lake!!

Perfect place to stay in Winona!

House was comfortable and very clean with plenty of space. Great views of the bluffs and located a short walking distance to the lake and park. It is located on the corner of a busy street, but still was private and an easy drive to all the area offers. Property owner immediately responded to our questions and the home had all we needed- we appreciated the breakfast items and the note with information regarding the house. We have stayed often in Winona at many other places, but hope we can come back and stay here again.
