Tucked away near the pristine and uncrowded beaches of Cape San Blas, experience the serenity of the Forgotten Coast from this enchanting, two-story vacation home. Vaulted wood ceilings, a spacious floor plan, and upscale furnishings create a magical atmosphere to make new memories with friends and family. Three furnished outdoor decks with overhead fans give everyone plenty of space to unwind. In the fully-equipped kitchen, you’ll find all the cookware and dishware you need and a private gas grill is available outside when you’re ready to sizzle something up. The spacious main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a standalone shower. A second bedroom offers direct access to one of the outdoor decks. The third bedroom shares access to a full bathroom with the second bedroom. The fourth bedroom is equipped with two bunk beds and two twin sleeper sofas, as well as an attached full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Located in the private gated community of Sunset Pointe, enjoy shared amenities like beach access, a community outdoor pool, and natural conservation areas with boardwalks.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Nice and quiet

Our crew def enjoyed our stay. It is conveniently located next to the boardwalk. We had the pool all to ourselves which has a shower and bathrooms on site. The pool was clean. The house was clean. Just a quick drive to the store if needed. Would definitely recommend this house!

Beautiful piece of paradise

Family Spring Break

Easy check in, great communication with management company, property was very clean upon arrival, towels & linens were freshly laundered, everything needed except food & drink was provided onsite. covered parking was great!, short walk to the clean shared pool that had chairs & loungers, along with clean bathrooms, the beach is a bit of a longer walk, but not too bad. this is our 3rd vacation to the Cape, and this property was great!

Beach house review

The house was clean and well maintained. The only issues we had were the doors were unlocked when we arrived and the lock box was extremely difficult to open to get the keys. Also the water pressure in the kitchen sink is terrible! We could not use it to effectively wash dishes or cook food. And finally it would be helpful to know that the beach access has steep steps. We had a wagon full of beach gear and it was impossible to get everything down to the shore. Other than that it was a fun stay. The weather was fantastic for beach time.

Issue after Issue

We had issue after issue. Our first reservation was canceled by Vacasa on Nov 12. We picked Once Upon a Dream just to salvage our vacation. On Sunday evening Dec 19, when we arrived, the place was nasty, it had not been cleaned. Bugs on the floor, dishes in the bathroom and sinks and dishwasher, beds still left unmade from the previous occupants, trash hanging on door knobs and in every trash can. The bedroom downstairs had the side table pulled out and all of the internet stuff was laying on the bed. We immediately called and spoke to someone who tried to put in touch with another someone (that never called) only to be told that person wasn’t in charge of our area anymore and we could expect a call from Ashley. He did call and moved us to a condo right around the corner. Shortly after arrival at the new place, we realized the place had no water. Hours and hours later, nearly 11 pm, we realize that Vacasa would be no help with this and we found the water was turned off at the meter. This still meant to hot water, but at least we could flush a toilet. The next day, Monday the 20th, around 3 pm, we finally made it back to our original house. It had been cleaned, but someone from Vacasa was still there trying to fix the internet. The lady stayed for hours trying to help us, but never could get it fixed. Someone knew there was a problem before we arrived and nothing was relayed to us. At this point, I text Ashley again and for the next few days he goes back and forth telling me he can move us back to the place with no water or refund us. I ask about the neighborhood we originally wanted to stay in in Panama City Beach, even found the places that were available and gave him names. He was always just checking on it for us, but never told us anything. On Wednesday we decided that we’d just stay there and Ashley said he’d refund us half of our payment for the troubles. At the time, this felt like a good solution. On Wednesday afternoon we finally made our way to the beach to find that the walkway was locked with a coded keypad. I looked at my emails from Vacasa and didn’t see this mentioned, so once again text Ashley. He replied saying he’d check into it and I never heard back. So every time we went to the beach we had to walk through a complex that wasn’t for us. Wednesday through Sunday I don’t hear anything, so on Sunday I ask about when we’d see our refund. And got the “looking now” text and nothing else. Many many days and texts later, I did receive some refund, but it was not all of what they promised. I again got the, I’ll check on it answer with no follow up. I’m not sure if any of this has to do with the actual house, but the homeowner has picked this company to represent them and for that reason I would not recommend staying here. Also, it states no pets, but the owner has one (pet items in cabinets) and when the heat was turned on (by cleaning or internet help person) it smelled of dog. It would have been nice to know that the pool was closed. Not that we would have had the code to unlock the gate anyway. I have also emailed this review and pictures to Vacasa more than once, with no reply. I tried to voice this without making a public review first.

It was a dream!

We had a blast staying at once upon a dream!! The house was perfect for our family. We enjoyed our beach and pool time. Just a short walk to the pool and a little bit further to the beach. It was an amazing vacation! We got to enjoy this time with our grandkids. I definitely recommend staying here!

Perfect for a place to sleep poor cleanliness

Location, ease, secluded, and nice house. We would have given this house and experience a 5 star IF it was clean. We paid a hefty cleaning fee and the house was not clean. Dead large ants at entry doors, bathroom, and bedroom window seals. Floor had many spots that were sticky and very dirty. Popcorn kernels on bedroom floor upstairs and empty popsicle wrappers in the dressers in two rooms. The blinds were mostly all broken and we couldn't raise them without them falling off the wall. Very dusty everywhere. Beds were great,very comfortable. The upstairs bed was very comfortable as it is an adjustable split king. The fan remote downstairs had no batteries. The light above dining room table was very dim and irratic. The outside area was very messy. There were dead sand dollars on the balcony that the cleaning company just left. The refrigerator smelled like old fish, we bought a baking soda just to help with the smell. The ice maker kept freezing and ice wouldn't come out. If they actually cleaned the house we would have rated it better! I hope the owners see this. The security box was hard to use for the key, had a hard time getting it out.

Best. Vacation. Ever.

We loved everything about this beautiful house. The well stocked kitchen, 3 outdoor porches and the spacious layout was perfect for our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 children). We loved the quiet area, the proximity to the pool and beach. It was a safe area for the kids to play and ride their bikes.

We love this house

Great place for a family with kids. Private and spacious. Kitchen is stocked with all the cooking tools you need to stay in a cook you own meals. He walk to the beach is ok, if your packing a lot of stuff the stairs might be a bit much for. But we made it 5 days in a row sometimes twice.

Beautiful beach community!

The home is well designed. Plenty of room. Some general maintenance problems were encountered. Vacasa staff were kind and very attentive. Home sits right on a marsh/wet lands area. Multiple rodents and a couple snakes were in the yard. Saw lots of beach life including prints of a sea turtle and 5 new nests during our visit.

Amazing

Amazing property! The Air Force weekday fly bys are amazing! The pool is a short walk and the beach is also a very short walk. The property manager was amazing and saved the day three times! Worth every penny, will return!
