The outdoor is kid friendly with a security fence closing off the lakefront. Outdoor includes fire pit with seating, outdoor bar, propane/charcoal grill and picnic tables. 5min (0.3 mi) walking distance from Indiana Beach Amusement Park. 2min walking distance from Lake Shafer Marina & Boat Rentals.

Great Getaway close to Indiana Beach

We've rented this property twice now and love it! Beautiful views overlookimg the water from inside the house and the amazing backyard. Great location so close to the Indiana Beach theme park.

Amazing stay

This property was amazing! The adults loved the bar outside and the kids loved the swing, the lake, and playing in the awesome yard! 5 minute walk to Indiana Beach Amusement Park and 2 minute walk to mini golf. Cant wait to stay here again next year. Property was super clean and perfect for our family.

Nice weekend!

This was our second time staying here. The house is very clean, has plenty of space and a great kitchen for making meals. The outdoor area is great! The only part we didn’t love was the pier since our family loves the water. All around great stay and we would stay here a third time!

Beautiful property- comfortable beds- awesome lake view and yard. So close to Indiana Beach- we went several times daily. We rented a boat one day from nearby rental. Only 1 bathroom but we made do. Would definitely stay again.

Best VRBO ever!

We booked for my brother's golden 30th birthday. This property was perfect. The owner thought of literally everything to make this place spectacular. I couldn't complain about this property even if I tried. We loved everything about this place. We will definitely be back!

This house was beautiful. Great indoor and outdoor space. Walking distance to Indiana beach. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of stuff. The only downfall for a house that fits 12 is there is only one bathroom. Host was nice and quick messaging back.

Dreamy sunrises!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean white towels and sheets. The entire home feels very clean and up-to-date. The appliances were like new. Plenty of seating for our group to eat and relax both inside and out. The grill was clean and the outside was safe for the kiddos. The sunrise from the back or the pier was my favorite part. Lots of seating for a bonfire too! We really appreciated the washer and dryer. Our family made many precious memories during our stay! We definitely plan to go back!

Wonderful Stay!

We loved the house, view, and outdoor area! We had 4 adults and 4 children between the ages of 6 and 10 and we all slept comfortably. The outdoor area was perfect and the whole family jumped right into the water off the dock and enjoyed swimming in the lake! There were several life jackets in an outdoor storage area that were perfect! We did pack a few tubes for swimming and those came in handy. The house was stocked with every kitchen gadget and grill utensil we needed! The host quickly responded to any and every message sent. Our stay was perfect and we would recommend this house for anyone wanting to visit the area!

Labor day weekend

We had the best time swimming and floating in tubes off the dock. The little ones loved jumping right in the water with their life jackets on. We rented a boat too one day. Great home! Gorgeous view of the lake. The house and backyard pictures were spot on. Loved the fireput too. We will be staying here again!

You cannot beat the view!

Our families came together for a yearly trip, and it was amazing. The back yard is magic and we fished every morning! Our kids absolutely loved it. Every detail was amazing and anything we had forgotten to bring was already there for us! If we had known all that was provided we wouldn’t have had to pack so much! The owner would quickly respond to any question I had. We had an amazing time and would absolutely come back!

Right off the pages of Better homes and Gardens

The house was absolutely beautiful and nicely updated. Lots of room in common areas and outside sitting areas. Several of us even when down the stairs to the dock...lots of steps but very sturdy. Beds were firm but not hard like most hotels. Having the washing machine and dryer in bathroom was handy with our large group. We could just put used towels in wash and run when full. We didn't like the rain shower shower head personally, but that is the current style. Two bedrooms did not have closet or anything to put clean clothes in, and not alot of room for bags on floors. Only one bathroom was a bit of a struggle for the large group. Window air conditioners were nice in upstairs bedrooms to help regulate the temp (as heat rises). Lots of parking, exp since we bring a trailer load of toys. Great location...easy walk to amusement park.

Ideal location, felt like home

Communication with the owner was great. Very quick responses. We immediately felt comfortable upon arriving. The place is just gorgeous and it was very clean. The bed linens smelled sooo good! Beds and pillows were very nice, as was all of the furnitire. The huge table was nice for all to sit at for dinner and for playing games. The house was stocked with everything you could need, just bring food and drinks. The outside area is the best feature! The swing was a hit with the kids and the covered grill area was a great place to hang out. The fire pit area worked out nicely for winding down and making smores. Even the dock below was good for fishing. It was great being so close to the marina for boat rentals and within walking diatance of indiana beach. We would definitely stay again!!
