Welcome to our home, ‘Wooden Bliss’, in the popular Lake Tahoe neighborhood of Tahoe Donner!

Escape to serene mountain tranquility in our cozy Tahoe Donner home. Nestled amidst majestic pines, our rustic yet homey abode offers raised ceilings, open concept living space, and a fully equipped kitchen. Unwind in the private backyard hot tub after a day of adventure. We're pet-friendly, so bring your furry companions along!

Step inside to the main floor's open kitchen, dining, and living area, bathed in natural light. The fully stocked kitchen boasts multiple coffee-making options and cookware for any culinary adventure. Relax in the living room with a Samsung 75-Inch Smart TV and indulge in board games or puzzles at the 6-seater game table.

Enjoy outdoor dining on two patios, one overlooking the entrance and the other with a Weber Grill and hot tub views. Retreat to the master bedroom's king bed and jetted tub ensuite. Downstairs, the kids' bunk room and guest bedrooms await, complete with smart TVs, game consoles, and a foosball table.

We would love to welcome up to 2 of your furry friends with you during your stay! Maximum 2 dogs (30 pounds or less and don't shed) are allowed with advance notice of reservation. Pet fee of $100 PER DOG must be paid prior to arrival. We have a dog bed and bowls for your furry friends on the main floor.

Dog Rules:
- Please make sure all pet excretion is picked up in the backyard and around the property.
- Please clean any excess pet hair from the furniture to help the cleaners prepare the home for the next guests*.
*Additional cleaning fee may be applied if there is excessive pet mess.

Best of both worlds

The house was awesome. From the easy check in to the cleanliness, to the response time from the host. It helped the weekend to be relaxing and comfortable. If you are looking for a house that feels secluded and quiet in the mountains but also close to everything you need/want then look no further. This was the perfect house.

Annual Snow Trip

This house worked out great for our family - three generations. The kids room with bunk beds was set up great and really worked well with all the kids. The house set-up is ideal for multiple families with lots of kids. We enjoyed our stay.

Family stay in truckee

Very spacious and comfortable. Lots of games for family fun. Kitchen is very well appointed. We enjoyed our stay. Nine of us in all. I will rent again.

Amazing family vacation home.

We loved every minute of our stay in this property. I loved how the host took care of every possible need and scenario. The house is well stocked with everything right from games to baby high chair. The hot tub in the back was an added bonus. We will definitely be come back again. Host was very quick to respond to our any query and went out of the way to make sure that we were all covered when there was a snow storm coming.

Gorgeous home, wonderful amenities, great location

We loved our stay at this home in the Tahoe Donner community and would love to come back. Living in the SF bay area, we are frequent visitors to Tahoe and have a pretty good sense for what to expect. So it is rare for us to be surprised, and this home managed to do that: the pictures don't do justice to the condition and amenities in this home. We loved how bright it is, with great views from every room in the home (including from the basement). Our kids absolutely loved the kids bunk beds in the basement, and the many entertainment options (board games! foosball!). Given we were traveling with a group, we appreciated the number of bedrooms and how well they are laid out, giving us all enough privacy and quiet when we wanted it. The common living area is generous and perfect for groups to hang out, with plenty of space on the couch around the fireplace, and plenty of seats at the dining table. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the hot tub in the backyard was an unexpected surprise - it was really cold this past week so we didn't expect to use it, but since we were a little cooped up (too lazy to even get out on the roads with the amount of snow), we had a blast in the jacuzzi under the snow clad trees. We found the home to be in immaculate condition. My wife is a neat freak and we've had a couple of bad experiences in the past, where it was clear that a short term rental home was being operated purely as a rental with corners being cut on cleaning and upkeep. Thankfully, this home is the opposite: it was in perfect condition, and the owners are clearly ensuring that it is welcoming and tidy. The home also felt much warmer than some other homes we've stayed in that felt very drafty due to their age - it was super cold these past few days but we were cozy and comfortable. Overall, I don't have any negatives to think of. One reason we booked this home was its proximity to the ski resorts we wanted to visit near Truckee, but we couldn't get much ski time due to the weather. While we wished the weather was better (all of Tahoe was hunkering down due to an unusual winter storm)... if we do end up being homebound due to weather, we hope it will be in a home like this!

Great place for the family, kids and fur-babies

The cabin is great, clean, spacious and very well equipped. The VRBO photos and description(s) are spot on. The communication with the host(s) was excellent and they were very responsive and helpful. Kitchen has plenty of utensils, plates, cookware, etc. Hot tub was great and modern. Home electronics, appliances, showers, toilets, washer, dryer, heater - all fully functional with no trouble. The property is in a nice and accessible neighborhood. The only criticism I have is that the mattresses are a little firm compared to what I'm used to, but this is just a personal preference, and not an issue/problem with the cabin. This was also one of the few cabins I could find that allowed dogs to stay, and our dog loved the cabin too. Our family had a wonderful time ... and most importantly, our 2 kids (ages 12 and 14) gave this cabin big thumbs up. We would not hesitate to stay here again!
