Wir nutzen dieses Haus für Freunde und Familie, so dass Sie alle Annehmlichkeiten im ganzen Haus vorfinden. Drei Schlafzimmer für 6 Personen und ein Ausziehsofa mit elektrischer Luftmatratze für 2 weitere Personen. Master mit einem Kingsize-Bett und eigenem Bad. Zwei Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten teilen sich ein Vollbad mit Wanne und Dusche. Die Straße ist sehr ruhig und hat keinen Durchgangsverkehr. Der Kanal hinten hat auch keinen Durchgangsverkehr, so dass der einzige Bootsverkehr von Anwohnern ausgeht. Mehrere Restaurants und Bars erreichen Sie nach einer kurzen Radtour oder zu Fuß. Auch der Hudson Beach ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Hauptdurchgangsstraßen in der Nachbarschaft haben Bürgersteige. Es ist ein fantastischer Ort, um einen ruhigen Kurzurlaub zu genießen.

Amazing Vacation Location

Salt Air Retreat is a wonderful facility. It has been completely renovated - with Brand new appliances, furniture (except for a couple of family antiques), cabinetry, etc. It was IMMACULATELY clean and refreshing, my wife is very fuzzy about cleanliness. Everything was fully equipped. Everything was very comfortable and refreshing. Kees is an amazing host - who could not have been more accommodating and helpful. I recommend everything about the home. Saltwater stay

The property was clean and well stocked with beach items and the kitchen had everything we needed. The property was entirely accessible from front to back canel. Loved sitting on the canel side patio for meals!

Our favorite vacation property!

I believe this was our 3rd time staying here and it was just as wonderful as prior visits. Owner is extremely communicative and accommodating. The home is beautiful, located in a quiet neighborhood, with many thoughtful touches inside for guests’ comfort. We will continue to stay here whenever we can!

Family scalloping weekend

We had a great stay for a long weekend. The home was lovely and just right for our family. It was cozy and nautically decorated which was charming. Beds are comfy which is sometimes hard to find. Kitchen is super stocked which was nice. We really enjoyed the water view from the tv room. The owner is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We’ve stayed at a variety of places over the years and we would come back here again.

Spacious, clean, and hospitable

This was a great location for my family’s summer getaway. The house has plenty of room, it is impeccably clean, and the owner/manager is very responsive. The nearby beach was closed for swimming due to red tide, but the house is only about 45 mins to 1 hour away from Clearwater Beach and Honeymoon Beach, which were open and beautiful. I highly recommend this house for anyone visiting the Tampa area.

Absolutely amazing

Great spot, very close to the gulf

We really enjoyed this house. Very clean and well equipped. The ice machine was very convienent. The owner was very responsive and friendly throughout the rental process. The neighbor across the street gave us a great tip regarding 'redneck island' which was about 10 miles south from the end of the channel. It was a beautiful beach that you can anchor your boat up to. We spent a lot of time there. Local marina was helpful and friendly. Loved the area and location of this house!

Great Stay in Hudson

The house was very clean, was furnished very nicely and the owner was very responsive. The furniture and appliances were new or like new. The beds were comfortable with plenty of linens and pillows. The bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed for breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. We really enjoyed the bikes and 2 man kayak. Dock is in a deep water canal and just a few minutes away from the Hudson Beach. We'll be happy to rent again when staying in the Hudson area.

If you cook!

Everything about the salt air retreat was above par. We used the kayak numerous times to fish or just get out to a nearby bay. I do a lot of cooking and this is the first vrbo rental that actually had a very well equipped kitchen and a newer propane grill. The owner was very helpful when we left some medications in a dresser drawer, he promptly shipped them to us . If we come back to the Hudson area this is where we will be staying.My wife asked me to note that the beds were extra comfy! Thanks Kees

Exceptional Hosts

My family stayed at The Salty Retreat for Spring Break 2021 and had a wonderful time, despite the weather. The hosts made the trip!!! Their home was stocked with everything needed, as well as any extras you may not have thought of. It was cozy and super clean. The neighborhood is quiet and has several local good places to eat and we made a daily trip to a tasty ice cream shop. It is close enough to Clearwater and Tampa for sight seeing but far enough for some good old relaxing with a nice fire pit on the canal/ocean. We also kayaked at the "Salty Dog" Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park which was so absolutely beautiful. We would highly recommend this home and are hoping to come back.

Clean, relaxing, and convenient

Great 3/2 Home, comfy master bed, and very, very clean. Easy parking and close to some very good restaurants. The floating dock worked great for our deck boat. It takes only 5-10 minutes to get to the dock from the boat ramp and even less to the gulf for fishing and great sunsets. We also saw a dolphin jump out of the water right in front of the dock. We've stayed in other canal homes and would sometimes see a fin or breach, but this one jumped completely out to the water! We definitely recommend this home if you are looking for a nice, clean place on the water to relax.

Perfect Spring Getaway!

The property was exactly as presented on the VRBO site, and the owner/manager could not have been nicer. Since we arrived late in the evening, we declined meeting in person with the owner/manager, but he was constantly available via phone. The house and property were extremely clean and very well appointed, there was nothing else that could be asked for! We enjoyed the immediate area of Hudson, and ventured out to Tarpon Springs, Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg, all within about an hour's drive. There are many Publix, Wynn Dixie, and Walmarts in the area for provisioning and general shopping. If we return to the Tampa area again, we will certainly look into renting this house. I love to fish and have a 30 ft Grady White Marlin fishing boat on the lift behind the house. This property gives me what I considered one of the best locations for Gulf access of any other properties in the area. Convenient to get to the marina for gas or just get out quickly with very little idle time. The house is on a VERY quiet street with the best deep water canal in Sea Ranch.

My wife is what makes my property unique. She insists there always be nice Towels and Linens. When we stay at other VRBO properties the Kitchen cookware is almost always a disappointment. We make sure you wont be disappointed when you cook here.
