Couples Getaway - this 1BR, 1 Bath rental has a full kitchen and is 1 block from all the restaurants and shops! Tastefully decorated and comfortable. A great place to snuggle up after a fun day exploring the area. Located on Kalamazoo Lake with a great view of the water from the apartment and balcony. Free parking for two vehicles and easy contact-free entry.

**Occupancy limit is 2 (including infants/children). NO PETS.**

This property is part of a 3-unit building. The upper 2 units share a balcony but have separate areas for sitting (see photos). The unit is private, but is near the other 2, so please expect some interaction with other people on occasion. We have provided noisemakers to help reduce any disturbances, but please know that the location of this unit is along the main street of Saugatuck, and summer months are busy and full of people enjoying themselves late into the night. :-)

Lovely cozy stay

Winter Wonderland

The photo for the listing is 100% accurate. This visit, however, imagine it all covered with snow. Being thoughtful hosts, there was a broom, shovel and snow melt available right outside the front door. Plenty of parking, spotless interior and just the feeling I wanted when taking important solo time

Views of the lake

The property had lovely lake views and a balcony. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. When we had questions, the host was very responsive. Best of all, the property is close to local restaurants and downtown businesses. Very walkable.

Great location. Water view and could walk to town

Perfect size place for two people. Very clean. Great shower. View of the lake from our living room and deck. Very close to town. Very short drive to Douglas beach and Oval beach to watch the sunset

Wonderful!

Wonderful VRBO… clean, tastefully decorated, lovely view and the location is perfect. Just a short walk to town. Jamie, the host, was so easy to communicate with and the information provided of local things to do was so helpful! Highly recommend!

Excellent location and pleasant accommodations

The condo was cosy with a great layout, very clean, well appointed, and the location was great! A 2 minute walk to the Friday farmer's market and a 7 or 8 minute walk into Saugatuck. We had a very pleasant stay and would book this property again in the future.

Cozy and Perfect, Indeed!

This cozy, warm and inviting apartment was the perfect getaway in Saugatuck. The space was beautifully decorated and it felt like home as soon as you open the door. The view of the lake was a wonderful greeting in the morning and peaceful way to end your day. The hosts have curated the optimal experience and were so friendly to work with no matter the time of day. If you are looking for the perfect spot for R&R yet close enough to everything for a bit of adventure, this is your space.

Perfect Getaway

We loved every second of our stay in Saugatuck and staying here played a huge part in that. It had a beautiful view of the water off the back patio, all of the accommodations we needed, and the location was literally perfect; all the shops we wanted to go to as well as plenty of good restaurants were less than a half mile from our place. Jamie & Windy were also wonderful hosts. Along with sending us a well thought out list of things to do, the listing itself answered any question we could possibly have, and on top of that, they even offered to run us some blankets when a tree falling left all of Saugatuck without power. My husband and I can't wait to come back in the future and we would love to stay here again!

LITTLE SLICE OF PARADISE IN SAUGATUCK

I almost hesitate to give such a good rating because then others will book this home which may make it hard for us to book again! One of the best units we have ever rented from VRBO! First, the unit was VERY clean and well appointed. They even supplied a spa quality robe! We visited during the "off" season so it was so quiet and peaceful sitting on the deck overlooking the river. It was the perfect size for just the two of us. We will definitely be back! Saugatuck is adorable too! So many cute shops and good restaurants. There are also several good wineries (check out Modales) and orchards within a short drive. Make sure to check out Saugatuck Dunes Park!

Just What I Needed

I needed a few days at / on the water, and this filled the bill. The space was as described and wonderfully appointed. Check-in was easy, and sleeping in on that first morning was wonderful in the comfy bed. I walked into town a few times each day and found a new-to-me place to eat each time. It's a quick drive to Douglas, Oval Beach, and Mt Baldhead, and Holland is only 15 minutes up the interstate. I'd definitely return!

Close to Everything!

My wife brings everything when she travels—the cottage has pans, etc…fridge, stove, you don’t need to bring the kitchen with you! We’ve been coming to Saugatuck for almost 30 years, the cottage worked for us well, and we will be back.

Perfect Location

This beautiful home was the perfect location for a quick getaway to Saugatuck. Less than a block from town and a gorgeous view of the water! Jamie was very helpful and accommodating, with thoughtful extra touches to make you feel at home. Would love to stay again.
