Sandra and Javier are excellent hosts. While it is probably nice to take pictures showing us in the property, I can say that what you see is what you get.
We travel to Orlando a couple times of year to visit the parks; however, this go round, we were trying to cut our lodging expenses without sacrificing quality.
Magnolia House is probably 25-30 mins from Disney.
The home is located in a quiet, gated neighborhood. Safety was not a concern of ours and our "neighbors" were quiet.
In terms of amenities, there are two pools, one near the welcome center and another near the back of the community (nearer to the trash compactor). Near each pool are play areas for kids. The play area near the second pool has a two tennis courts, a volley ball area, and a basketball court; though, at the time of our visit the court was under maintenance so the hoops had been taken down.
Our host provided a basketball and volleyball. There may have been tennis balls and rackets, but we didn't notice.
Everything we needed to stay was included. The Kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, plates, utensils, drink ware, and more. Javier and Sandra really make you feel like you're at home.
The stuff you need for day to day living is there. For example, aluminum foil, cling wrap, laundry detergent, etc.
We usually like our kids to have their own space, especially when on vacation, so it is great that the master bed (king) is on the ground floor, and the remaining 3 bedrooms are on the second floor.
Javier and Sandra are incredibly responsive. For example, when we arrived, we were about 18 mins early. My code won't work. I called and spoke with Sandra and she informed me the code would be active after 4pm (the check-in time); however, we adjusted it and we didn't have any trouble afterwards.
I managed to lock myself out of the safe, I texted them and they gave me instructions on accessing the physical key to get into the safe.
I had a few questions about getting into the gym and game room, so I texted and they provided the code to get into the gym and game room.
There is a theatre; however, it requires more than we thought reasonable. That said, we didn't know of it and it wasn't a factor in us selecting Magnolia House, so I wouldn't consider it to be a negative.
Magnolia House is very comfortable and feels better that most places I've stayed, including a value resort on Disney property.
For the price, it cannot be beat.
