This quiet house is two miles from Custer and less than 1/2 mile from Michelson Trail. You will love the elegance and privacy of this two acre property. The home has 3 bedrooms 2 bath and sleeps up to 8+ people. The wrap around deck makes for a beautiful view and is complete with outdoor furniture, grill and an elevator to make the upper level of the home handicap accessible. The open floor plan on the upper level will make for wonderful family memories. Also has two stall detached garage for your vehicles. Large front yard is convenient for parking trailers for motorcycles or 4 wheelers.

Beautiful home in a great location

We loved our stay at this home. It was in a great location, only a short drive in any direction to many attractions. The house was perfect for our group of three generations traveling together as the multi levels allowed us to have our own spaces. The house was decorated beautifully and stocked with anything you would need. We loved coming home every day to cooking and playing games together. It was nice to see the deer, rabbits and bluebirds in the yard everyday. We would highly recommend this home and hope to make it back someday,

Great base for Black Hills stay

Excellent place for a stay with friends and family to enjoy the Black Hills area. Property was just as described. Loved the yard games and board games for the kids. Loved the well stocked kitchen for cooking. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome!

This is the best VRBO we have stayed at. The location was great, Custer and the Black Hills were great. The house was incredibly well-stocked. Everything was clean with lots of room for 5 including our 2 new high school graduates. We had the best time. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

Lovely home and great location

This house was well supplied with anything you might need! Great size. We stayed with 5 adults and 1 toddler and had room for everyone. Beautiful location. We would definitely consider staying here again. The host even allowed us early check in so that my toddler could nap on time. Very sweet.

Black hills family hunting trip

We have hunted in the black hills for mamy years and have always stayed in a hotel. We made it work. Albiet crammed. We made the change to do a VRBO and this place in paticular met all our needs and more. Everything was on point and as advertised. The communication with the owner was fast and informative. We grilled steaks every night and used the gigantic smart tv for Thanksgiving football. We will be back.

A Hidden Gem

Excellent base for exploring the parks around Custer

My wife and I, along with SIL and her BF (all late 50s/early 60s) spent 4 nights in this wonderful home just a few minutes drive from the main street of Custer. Very peaceful setting at the end of a gravel road, adjacent to the little airfield (it is pretty active but not a distraction at all). The house made a great starting point each day for our explorations of Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument and Mount Rushmore. We had no issues with the house. It was just as advertised. Very clean and well appointed. Everything we needed and lots of space. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor areas, especially the back deck. That made for a great place to relax after a day of hiking in the parks. Cheryl was very easy to work with as well as very attentive to all questions. Booking, check-in, and check-out were all a breeze. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay here in the future when visiting Custer.

Immaculate and well stocked

We had a wonderful stay with friends. This property is the perfect location to enjoy Custer State Park and all of the other surrounding towns and attractions. The house was immaculate and extremely well stocked. The downstairs living area ensured privacy for both couples. By far the best VRBO I have rented.

Home away from home

As soon as we walked through the door, we were impressed. The home is beautiful, with an open floor plan. Everything is updated. Cheryl has thought of everything!! We loved the homey touches such as tissues, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, etc. The list goes on and on. The furnishings were very comfortable. We loved sitting on the back deck in the mornings and evenings. The property is quite large, so it was pretty quiet. We did hear the rooster next store, but it did not bother us! VBRO Review - Custer, SD Home

I recently traveled to Custer with seven friends to participate in the Lean Horse Ultra races. We rented this home from Cheryl through VBRO. It met our needs perfectly! The home was well appointed with furnishings and decor. It was obvious that the home was extremely well cared for. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and modern. There were abundant linens and towels. The home has two sets of washing machines and dryers. We took advantage of those. The open floor plan for the kitchen and dining area was a terrific meeting spot for meals and visiting. We had coffee and breakfast on the deck while sitting in the comfortable deck chairs. Cheryl was responsive, friendly and professional to all of our queries. I would gladly stay at this property in the future.

Wonderful location

We loved our stay at this property. Lots of amenities within the home that we enjoyed having with our family. Great location between Custer, Mount Rushmore, Wind cave, Jewel cave. Quiet neighborhood and great communication with the property manager.

We live in southwest Minnesota, we have been going to the Black Hills area for many years. We enjoy all seasons in the hills, winter for snowmobiling, spring to see all the new born wildlife, summer for the Sturgis Rally and of course fall to go out on the trails with the side by side. There is always something to see or someplace new to explore. We eventually will be retiring and moving to the hills permanently and are looking forward to it. We hope you enjoy the location and your time in the hills.
