Kozi Sandbox Getaway

The place was just as we expected, clean, accommodating and close (walking distance) to all attractions. We use to live in the area so we were very familiar with everything around us. Would highly recommend staying here as it is comfortable, clean and so easy to get to whenever you want to go. Thank you for the added bonus of boogie boards, sand toys and a grill! We had a wonderful time!

Close to beach and restaurants

Loved the house. It was perfect for me and two of my co workers. Walked to breakfast and dinner and the massage place a few blocks away.

Relaxing vacation

We stayed for 7 days, and it was so worth it. The house is so relaxing, and we really enjoyed being away where we didn't have noise from the street so we could sleep in or just take a nap. The walk to the pier or all the cute little shops was fun. We walked every day and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The street faire is a must if you are there on Thursday nights. I also went to church up the street and everyone was friendly. We would definitely go to this same house again. We had a few things that we needed, and our contact Donna was more that accommodating to us. LOVE this place!

Oceanside family vacation

We had a nice stay at this house. The house was clean and met our needs. The best part of this property was the prompt and attentive communication with the hosts. They were quick to respond to any issue or question we had. When we arrived, the pack n’play provided would not stay up and they had a brand new one delivered the next day. I have no doubt that they would have done their best to fix any other issue we may have had. We really appreciated the beach toys, chairs and boogie boards provided for our use. There are a few small things that would have made our stay here even better. The windows are unable to be closed and secured due to the window AC units in two different rooms. Providing a stick in the window to keep them from being to be opened even further for someone to be able enter through would have made me more comfortable. This added security would seem to go along with the cameras they have around the exterior of the property. More dishes and silverware would have been helpful as there were eight of us staying there and only about that many forks or spoons so we were constantly doing dishes. Unfortunately our catalytic converter was stolen out of the car we had parked overnight in front of the house. We appreciated having a garage to park one car in, but our second car was parked on the street. The property managers told me this is very uncommon in this neighborhood and did provide a few different auto shop recs at my request.

Cute house, good location

This was our second time staying at this house. We chose to stay here again because it is conveniently located near Camp Pendleton and our son was able to stay with us a couple nights while we were in town. It's within walking distance to shops and restaurants, and the market on Thursday which we really enjoy. I would definitely recommend visiting the market during the day and then again in the evening to enjoy the music and grab dinner.

Fantastic beach house

This place is centrally located. We walked to the beach, and to restaurants. We also rode the bikes provided to get pizza. Such a great time! The house had everything we needed and was clean. I love the decor! Walmart was just a couple of blocks away. We couldn’t have stayed at a better place! We were visiting our Marine who is at Camp Pendleton. He stayed with us and we went to the whale watching, which I highly recommend as well! We will definitely be back!

Great place and locations for family getaway

Quiet, convenient location close to everything! Just a few minutes walk to the pier. Having 3 bedrooms was perfect. The house has everything you need from kitchenware to beach chairs. We definitely recommend staying here.

Oceanside Retreat

Love staying in Oceanside! Close to great restaurants and beach, although beach was a bit too far to walk for us older, outta shape folks, but found parking easy enough. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking and easy walk to Mission Avenue! Property was comfortable and we brought our own chairs to enjoy the ocean breeze from the front porch. Backyard area was set up a bit funky but still comfortable.

Cottage near downtown Oceanside

This VRBO is in a pretty green neighborhood. Unfortunately the yard is all cement. There is a garage which will hold one car easily so we had no worries about our rental car getting damaged. The home was very clean.

Nice place, parking in front is first come first serve so you might not get to park in front of the house. Small vehicles will fit in the back garage. But overall nice place to stay.

We had a great experience at this house, and the host was in communication throughout with recommendations as to where to eat etc. Walking distance to the pier and the strand for our kids, the location was great for a relaxing weekend! What you see in the pics is what you get!

Great location!

The Sandbox is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The house itself is comfortable, clean, and has a great outdoor patio space. The garage was a nice bonus and plenty of street parking for a bigger group. Walking distance to Northern Pine brewery and close to the highway for easy access to navigate Oceanside and beyond. Donna was very accommodating, flexible, and had great response time. I highly recommend this spot as well as Donna as a host!! Thank you!!
