This updated 1920's bungalow is the perfect home away from home. It's located in Sunset Heights, less than 5 mi. from Downtown and less than 10 mi. from the Texas Medical Center, the world's largest medical complex. Get a neighborhood feel while still only being a short distance away from all Houston has to offer, tons of restaurants, local bars, farmers markets, shops, etc. The Li’l Blue Bungalow is fully furnished with 5-star amenities, a yard, securely gated and has a detached 2-car garage.

Super Clean & Cute Cottage

This was the cleanest VRBO property I’ve ever rented. It was very cozy and well appointed. It was easy to Uber to and from activities. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking to stay in the Heights. Communication with the owner was informative and timely.

Go “Lil” Blue Bungalow

Family and I drove from San Diego to attend the National Championship game : Go Blue! This home was beautiful with such attention to detail on all levels: comfort, cleanliness, well organized. Our host Kaitlin was amazing and helpful and readily available for all my questions about the area and downtown Houston. This was a very welcoming home and we would definitely recommend.

One of the best!

This is my second stay at Li'l Bungalow. This location is amazing. The house is extremely clean with comfortable beds, towels and bed linens. This location provides all the little things such as shampoo, body wash, laundry detergent, trash bags and even a basket of snacks. We have stayed over 20 VRBOs and this one is the best. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Long Weekend at the Lil' Blue Bungalow

Two of us came to visit with a long-time friend in Houston. this house gave us the perfect place to visit, talk, plan, and just relax! I have stayed in many VRBO rentals all over the country, and this little house is by far the most comfortable, well-supplied and fun, with great eclectic furniture and comfy beds.

Best Weekend Ever!

We were there to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday. Although we live in Galveston, we wanted to do a close to home celebration. The area was perfect for downtown events, heights happenings and a trip to Rice Village for Sunday brunch. This was the most cozy and comfortable home you can imagine. So welcoming and beautiful. The hostess is so helpful and easy to reach. A beautiful place in an up and coming area. Walk the neighborhood. It’s well worth it. In addition, pricing is point on!

Clean & Cozy with the Best Beds

Kaitlin’s Blue Bungalow was so great for our weekend in Houston! The house felt cozy and inviting—it was like being hosted by friends! The house was also immaculately cleaned (better than many nice hotels). However, the best part was the beds! I’m a nitpicky sleeper, but I slept wonderfully here! The bedding was plush and comfortable, and Kaitlin provided a variety of pillow types. My partner slept amazing as well! We will definitely be booking the Lil Blue Bungalow for our next trip to Houston!

Great house

We were looking for a location near our daughter’s house and this was perfect. Cost was only a little more than staying in a hotel and so much nicer! Loved that we could park in the garage. Very nicely updated/decorated. Kaitlin always responsed to the few stupid ?’s I had quickly. Everything you need to know is in the book that I didn’t read (Lol). Great stay!

We’ve traveled ALOT and the lil blue bungalow is hands down THE BEST VRBO. We had a family Christmas with our family coming from NYC and SC and it was a great house! Beautifully decorated and fully stocked kitchen! Pots and pans that were in great condition —that’s truly hard to find in a VRBO rental. Kaitlin labeled all the wall switches for the lights and even hung miseltoe! Her attention to detail and making us feel comfortable was so fabulous! After a 16 hour drive the lil blue bungalow was just perfect! Definitely will stay again!

What a treasure!

What a treasure! A real gem! Just blocks away from the farmer's market, a cool cheese shop, and other nook and cranny restaurants, the Li'l Blue Bungalow definitely has a neighborhoody feel. It's located close to two major highways, which makes getting in and around Houston convenient and easy. The accomodations at the LBB were above and beyond what I expected. Comfortable, EXCEDINGLY CLEAN, LOT'S of room! SUPER nice, full-sized appliances in the kitchen! ROOMY showers, with plenty of towels etc... We also loved that there was inside garage parking, a beautiful yard, an awesome deck to sit out on (with cute string lights), a wonderful front porch to walk out on to... I mean really, a home-away from home! And can I mention again how CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE EVERYTHING WAS?!? Next time we find ourselves in Houston, we would not hesitate to happily stay here again! Kaitlin was SO helpful and friendly. A PERFECT HOSTESS! It was an absolute pleasure being a guest at the Li'l Blue Bungalow! THANK YOU AGAIN!

Better Than A Five Star Hotel!

I travel to Houston every other weekend, if its possible from now this will be my go-to reservation! Its cozy, and stocked with all the things you need. Its conveniently located, and the front porch swing and the tub are the highlights. Highly recommended!
