Great experience

Stayed here for a lacrosse tourney that was just up the road. Everything was as described. Air conditioning was perfect seeing that we had upper 90's all weekend. Enjoyed how close it was downtown Belleville. Great little downtown.

Great place to stay

The home is beautifully decorated and stocked with all the essentials and a few extras. Host made our check in super easy and was quick to respond to questions. Over all it was a great place!

Girls game weekend getaway

We couldn't have been happier with our stay! The house was perfect for all our needs. Had a good kitchen to make our meals together, a nice big table for our games, and a cozy living room to sit around and talk. Bedrooms and bathroom were in great condition and had no issues. Definitely staying here again for our next weekend getaway.

Nice place

Older house in decent neighborhood with lots of space, a yard, washer dryer, shower has great water pressure. Convenient to East St. Louis and only half an hour to downtown. Twenty minutes to Cahokia. Everything worked fine, great giant living room couch with huge flatscreen tv, adorable upstairs rooms with slanted ceilings and lots of character. Host was super responsive and helpful, check in was easy. The place isn’t brand new, but I figure that is why it can be so affordable. I’d stay here again for sure.

We stayed for 3 nights. The kids enjoyed having the upstairs to themselves. They had a tv to watch in each room. We had a comfortable bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with host was great! Would stay again!

Truly enjoyed staying at the Prince Frog Cottage. It was a little small but fixed up and layed out nicely. The location was wonderful, so close to so much. The host was fantastic and easy to communicate with.

Awesome Gem close to St Louis

This place was beyond perfect for my husband and dogs. We were only a 20 minute drive to downtown St Louis and the fenced in back yard for our dogs. Would stay here again!

This reservation was for my older brother who doesn’t have internet and couldn’t make the reservation himself. I wasn’t present at the house during this time and was open with the owner that I was just the go-between to relay communication between the two. Thank you, Ashley, for allowing this. There was a report made to me after my brother left the house that there was an odor of cigarette smoke in the home which broke the rules. I confronted my brother, who doesn’t smoke, about it and he denies smoking nor having anyone additional in the home. I can’t explain the odor of smoke. My brother said he loved the house though especially after he found out that the home was where one of his childhood friends used to live. Thank you, Ashley, for opening your home to my brother. I have learned a valuable lesson and will no longer be making any reservations under my account unless I will also be present.

Nice little stay

Owner has done a good job of taking a theme and creating a fun space with it. Internet and streaming services were great for the kids. The yard space was perfect for our dog. The location was close to Main St. where there were restaurants, bars, and shops. It’s an old house so it’s a little tight at the top of the stairs but we’d stay again!

While traveling with her husband, 5 kids, 3 dogs, and a cat she found that hotel stays just could not accommodate her family's needs and began booking g short term rentals. Inspired by these solutions and her love of real estate and management, she decided to create her own business to buy distressed/abandoned properties and give them new life again as vacation rentals.
