We are living in our Dream Home! Built during 2020, our gray & teal Craftsman boasts a large lower level (9 foot ceilings) with private entrance and daylight windows perfect for your vacation get away while we live in the upper level.

The large family room, TV, games, toys, dining area, and kitchenette make your stay together comfortable and memorable. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms for your family and friends to utilize while you stay in this beautiful countryside home.

Just outside your lower level sliding glass doors you will find a salt water hot tub with seven seats and a patio for outdoor dining with table chairs and gas grill.

There is a huge side yard perfect for a game of football or frisbee. A fire ring is close by for an evening of hotdogs and marshmallows. With woods behind you, fields around you, and horses in the nearby pasture, you will be able to relax and enjoy the fresh air and gorgeous sun rises or bright night skies!

Our driveway provides plenty of free parking with marked diagonal spots for our guests. The lower level is entered by using our front sidewalk and going down a series of eight long steps before entering your private sliding door entrance.

We are only five miles from Madriver Ski Lodge , Ohio Caverns, and Marmon Valley Horse Farms. Bellefountaine boosts a traditional Midwest downtown with several fun shops, coffee spots and fine eateries.

We are one hour from Columbus, one hour from Dayton and one hour from Cedarville University.

We had great time staying at the property while we went skiing at Mad River Mountain. Spacious living room and tastefully decorated bedrooms. The hosts are great and allow us to check in earlier so we can have enough space in our car for our ski rental gears. Highly recommended。

Perfect for family stay

This property was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 young children. Hosts were very accommodating and excellent with communication. There were plenty of toys for our kids to play with. The kitchen is wonderful and very clean. Although a little cold in the winter, there are plenty of space heaters to keep it comfortable. We definitely plan to stay here again when in town. Check in and out was very easy as well. This is perfectly as advertised.

Wedding Weekend Stay

My family and I stayed here the week of my wedding in West Liberty and it was perfect!! Beautiful scenery out in the open. Lots of space with many queen beds, ping pong table, little kitchen. The host went above and beyond for us and was truly the best most gracious host. Gleaming with Gods love!

Place to stay during local wedding

My adult(ish) sons and my husband and I were looking for a place for a relatively large number of adults with ranging interests to stay affordably during down times affiliated with a family wedding in Sydney OH. This Vrbo provided the PERFECT retreat. Varying combinations of us engaged in shuffle board, ping pong or enjoyed the salt water spa. The accommodations were like a welcoming home and we had space where we could spread out but also be together. The owners put things together with considerable thought, with things available for both in doors and outdoors. All at a price where we could afford to host the entire family and the plus ones.

Very nice accommodations!

Our family had a family wedding to attend in Richwood, Ohio, which was approx. 40 minutes from this property. The property provided a perfect set-up for our family to enjoy some nice R&R together after assisting with decorating the wedding venue, etc. ... the nice continental breakfast was a PLUS and the property was spacious, comfortable, and very clean! It was a joy getting to meet the owners, Dan and Annette, just before we left!!!

Family Birthday Celebration

Very clean and spacious. Hosts were very responsive to our needs and a very nice couple. Lots of toys for the kids. Found everything we needed in the kitchenette. Hot tub was awesome. We visited nearby Ohio Caverns and loved it. Highly recommend!

Great stay for family with kids!

Was a very nice, new and clean property with lots of amenities, toys and games. You have the whole basement to yourselves and there was lots of room for our family. They accommodated us on a busy weekend for themselves and I would certainly recommend them as hosts and as to the place. Great stay, great value.

Perfect

This was our first family ski trip to Mad River. The location is perfect-just a short drive to the mountain. The house was spotless and the owners were very accommodating and quickly responded to questions. We had 8 adults and an infant and there was plenty of space for everyone. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to go back!

A beautiful apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment! It was clean and orderly, and check in and out was no problem. The only "complaint" would be the access to the apartment because of the 2 elderly members of our group. There are stairs to go down behind the house to get to the apartment. The chain placed to the side did help some, but a more stable railing to hold on to would have been much better. But since this is a fairly new apartment, I'm sure they're still working on things. So hopefully this (a real railing) is something they're planning on adding. Thank you for a great stay!

GREAT FAMILY SKI TRIP

This property is truly amazing and perfect for families. We take a ski trip every year with our kids and their friends. My kids are spoiled and always want a place with a jacuzzi which is not always easy to find! This place was super clean and had everything we needed (so important when traveling with 7 people that we don't have to pack towels, blankets, silverware, plates, etc.). Very affordable and doesn't kill you on the cleaning fee like most places. This is the only place we have stayed that truly has everything a family could want such as 4 bedrooms (plenty of places to sleep), a hot tub, a ping pong table, shuffleboard, and a fire pit (although we were too tired to use it). We had kids ages from 13 to 24 and all had a great time. Dan and Annette were so wonderful, we needed a can opener and they went and bought one for us! We also visited the Ohio caverns on our way home. I would highly recommend this tour, as it was great for all ages. We will definitely come back and have already recommended this place to others. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, Dan and Annette. We made wonderful family memories!

Wonderful Thanksgiving!

This property was the perfect place for my family to meet up for Thanksgiving. We had 7 adults and 5 kids ages 6 months- 8 years old, and we pulled off a Thanksgiving feast. We were worried because that is a lot of people to feed with only a kitchenette. But we each brought a cooler and there was plenty of space to keep coolers along the wall of the kitchenette. We also turned the top of the dresser in the Create room into a pantry to store the other extra food. Between the electric gridle and microwave that they provided, and an instant pot and portable electric burner that we brought we were able to heat up all of the food that we had prepared for Thanksgiving and had plenty of room to store the leftovers in the coolers and mini-fridge. This place has the most luxurious carpeting, we almost didn't use the beds (they are nice, the carpet is just soooo awesome)! We were actually nervous when we were eating because the dining area is on the nice carpeting and with all of the kids we were worried we were going to spill something. We ended up putting a sheet down under the really nice high chair that they provided because the 18 month old loves throwing his food as much as he loves eating it. We just reminded the other kids to be careful, but if you are having a lot of kids there eating you might want to bring some sort of tarp/picnic cloth so you don't have to worry. It was cold and wet out during our stay so we hung out inside the entire time and it was great. The family room is HUGE and they had a great assortment of toys for the kids to play with. One thing to note is that the play room (workout) has a queen bed on a loft. There are carpeted stairs up to the loft and it has a railing, but we didn't want any kids sleeping up there, so ironically, the only couple without kids ended up sleeping in the room that all of the kids were playing in haha! So as long as you have older kids, or adults that are willing to let the kids take over their bedroom during the day you will be fine like we were! The hosts Dan and Annette are really nice, quick to respond to any messages and very accommodating. My family is very loud and rambunctious and they hosted Thanksgiving upstairs while we celebrated downstairs and they never complained. They seemed genuinely happy that our family was having fun in their house. You couldn't ask for better hosts. We had a great experience!

Perfect for a family reunion, work retreat, craft weekend, ski weekend, church retreat or any small to medium group event. With four bedrooms, couches, and two full baths, several families or friends can find this a comfortable place to hang out for a few days. Our kitchenette is well supplied allowing you to make family meals which can be served on our farm table or utilize our additional 4 six-foot tables with 12 folding chairs for a large dinner.
