DESCRIPTION
Fronting the beach and blue ocean, Neptune’s Jewel sparkles in a sea of exceptional homes in coastal San Diego. This remarkable property is above a beautiful stretch of shoreline in La Jolla known as Windansea Beach and overlooks Big Rock, a shallow ocean reef just offshore that produces ever-changing waves and attracts surfers hoping to catch the next perfect wave.

Neptune’s Jewel spans over 4,000 sq ft and is built for those who appreciate functional elegance and a unique vacation experience. The home's position above the beach and the street below provides maximal views while still maintaining an element of privacy. 10' high floor-to-ceiling glass walls, spectacular views, an ocean-facing pool and spa, a rooftop lounge, and designer furnishings are just some of the exceptional amenities provided.

Enter through a private garden courtyard and into an open floor-plan living space filled with natural light with an ocean-blue backdrop. The ocean-view living area features a gorgeous custom u-shaped sectional, fronting a linear gas fireplace. The 75” flat-screen television with 5.1 surround sound delivers a cinematic experience and doubles as a piece of art when not in use. The sleek and stylish kitchen features a natural stone waterfall island with bar seating, where you or a personal chef can prepare gourmet meals utilizing the top-of-the-line Miele appliances, and then dine on the circular metal Aqua dining table with a teardrop Carrara marble base.

The adjacent Ocean lounge is an architectural highlight set against angular sliding glass walls allowing you to enjoy true 180-degree ocean and shoreline viewing from the comfort of swivel chairs and a sofa. Grab the provided telescope to scout for marine life and surfer close-ups.

Just outside is the view lounge over the pool, with ceiling heaters, and one of 4 fire features. The recreational-sized pool and spa share amazing water views and feature full-width rectangular roman steps for relaxation and gazing at the beach. It is very rare to find a vacation rental with a pool overlooking the beach in San Diego, which makes this home even more special. Steps down lead to the beach-level cabana bathroom with towel warmers and a foot wash, plus two warm showers to rinse the salt and sand away after a day at the beach.

From the living area, take the floating staircase up an underwater-themed stairwell to the second level, featuring 4 bedrooms; all with en-suite bathrooms. This level features 4 skylights, custom-built Italian cabinetry, and a built-in wet bar. The beverage center, coffee machine, and dishwasher are at your disposal for early morning coffee, refreshing drinks during the day, a glass of wine to toast the sunset or a tasty midnight snack! Another thoughtful amenity is the sound and light-deadening dual-pane glass sliding door that effectively closes off the sleeping rooms from the stairwell and living areas. Add the black-out shades in each bedroom, and late sleepers will rejoice!

The Primary Suite is a sight to behold. A magnificent floor-to-ceiling wall of windows offers views stretching out to the horizon. Relax on the living-room-sized sofa and chairs in front of the 75’' TV or step out to a glass-paneled terrace with chairs and a fire pit, where you can watch the beachgoers during the day and the sunset over the ocean each evening. The luxurious bathroom offers a dual sink stone vanity and an oversized walk-in shower with an ocean-view panel window. The king-size bed and sumptuous bedding round out this space, and as nice as the home is, you may never want to leave the bedroom!

The Ocean Suite, with similarly beautiful whitewater views and its own glass-paneled balcony and seating, along with a king-size bed, TV, and en-suite bathroom, also with ocean views from the shower. The Garden Suite features a king-size bed, TV, and en-suite bathroom and balcony with expansive views of La Jolla Heights and the famous palm tree-lined Camino de la Costa. The Family Suite can sleep up to 5 guests on a twin over full bunk bed and a top-of-the-line fold-down queen-size sofa. Upon request, we will convert the sofa into a permanent bed by adding a queen-size luxury Saatva mattress, providing the same premium sleeping experience as in the other bedrooms. This suite is also equipped with a TV and en-suite bathroom.

The next stop is up to the roof-top deck Sky Lounge. This elevation is higher than any other home nearby and offers true 360-degree views of the ocean, beach, and the surrounding coastal neighborhood. Umbrella-shaded lounges, pure ocean breezes, and the sounds of crashing waves provide the backdrop for relaxing on the lounges. The fully stocked standalone Italian kitchen concept ensures ultimate convenience and delivers top culinary results with a professional Lynx grill with Rotisserie, fridge and freezer drawers, and a dishwasher, then you can dine with your family and friends on the stunning 90” fire table with an elongated flame.

Health-minded guests will appreciate the convenient in-home gym with full wall mirrors and an expansive floor-to-ceiling slider that opens to the garden courtyard for an indoor-outdoor workout experience. The gym is outfitted with high-quality cardio and strength-training equipment: Concept2 rower, TV, adjustable bench, adjustable dumbbells and kettlebells, pull-up bar, TRX, bands, and medicine balls. If you're up for straight cardio, nothing beats a run on the beach or the nearby palm-lined streets.

Additional amenities include a garden courtyard with outdoor dining under ceiling heaters, natural wood desks in the Ocean lounge and Primary and Ocean bedroom suites, wireless printing, a Tesla roof that powers the home, and a Powerwall for complimentary vehicle charging. There are dual privacy and shade controls at your fingertips and the whole home automation system offers control of video, audio, lighting, heating, cooling, and security with a touch screen on every level of the home. Roche-Bobois and Room and Board furnishings were custom-made for each room, and a total of 6 Samsung The Frame TVs turn into beautiful art when not in use. Guests will also appreciate the generously sized laundry room and 2-car parking spaces as well.

Noise must be at a reasonable level at all times, and quiet hours are from 9:00 pm to 9:00 am. Excessive noise disturbances will result in a minimum $1,000 fine and eviction with no refunds.

Stunning home, stunning location. The home literally has it all. Everything you could ever ask for from a beach house vacation. No expense was sparred with this home. They literally thought of everything. Can’t wait to come back. La Jolla is an amazing beach town with tons of great restaurants and things to do.
