This Location Is A Rare Find And, What Makes Our Location Special! Our Backyard Is A “Hidden Doorway To A Wilderness Wonderland”. We Connect Directly To The San Bernardino National Forest. You Step Out Of The Backyard And Right Onto “The Eureka Lodge Adventure Trail” At The Base Of Gold Mountain. We Use These Trails Whenever We Visit And, Have Never Encountered Anyone Else Back There.

HEATING AND AC

The Central Thermostat, On The Main Level, Regulates The Temperature Throughout The House.
The 1st Floor Stays Cool In The Summer But, Can Get Cold In The Winter. It Runs About 10° Colder Than The Rest Of The House. We Keep Several Small Space Heaters There. That Way You Can Warm The Space Up A Little More If Needed.
It's Worth Noting That The Primary Bear, Sunset, And Sunrise Suites Tend To Run Slightly Warmer Than The Main Living Area. To Ensure Comfort, We Have Equipped Each Of These Rooms With An Individual 9000 BTU AC Heating Unit. This Allows You To Control The Temperature In Each Room Separately If Needed.

PARKING

There Is Driveway Parking Available For Up To Four Vehicles. Although There Is No Garage, There Is A Carport Located At The Top Of The Driveway. However, Accessing The Carport With A Large Vehicle Can Be A Tight Squeeze. It Will Require Multiple Attempts To Pull In And Out. It Is Advisable To Park An Economy Or Mid-Size Vehicle In The Carport Space.

RENTAL AGREEMENT PLUS GUEST VERIFICATION

There are two sets of online forms and ID verifications you must complete. Both are easy to fill out quickly.

The first one is required by San Bernardino County. This is the rental agreement and a copy of your picture ID. The county requires us to keep a copy of those on file. You will receive a link to do that when confirming your reservation.

In addition to the rental agreement you will be asked to complete a third party guest verification. At that time you will also be given the choice between a security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver. This provides both our guests and our property with extra protection.

This is done through third-party provider Superhog. Superhog will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please take care of both prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.
