Onward!
Thank you for checking out our cozy 3br cabin, which was built in 2000. It's an efficient 972 square feet, with a massive 200 square foot deck for your family to enjoy mountain views. It's a single level home perfectly located between downtown Estes Park and the National Park entrance (just minutes from both) and even closer to our favorite restaurants, delis and grocer.
We love the location, the views of Lumpy Ridge, and the grassy yards offering a relaxing respite after a long day hiking. And indeed, guests have raved about the same qualities.
"... the location is perfect, the beds are great and you are sure to catch your fair share of wildlife while enjoying time on the front deck taking in the beautiful views. 10/10 will be staying here again." - Dylan
"... wonderful location perfect for 5 adults could’ve had 6 if we needed! Great amenities, wonderful host and beautiful views all around! I’d for sure stay here again!" - Jonathan
"... this was a great place for us! Clean, cozy, great views and great location to the Park and Estes life. We watched deer almost every morning while we had morning coffee. Plan to stay in this cabin from now on! 5*" - Kendall
Because the house is situated relatively close to the National Park as well as Prospect Mountain, you're nearly guaranteed to see elk, deer and other animals wandering through the yard. It's well appointed with comfortable beds and living room seating, plus a gas fireplace for cold winter nights.
Access is plowed, though we do recommend AWD or 4WD from May to October due to fickle weather and the potential for occasional big winter storm.
We love our home for many reasons! Our favorite features are the convenient location and the views off the deck.
***** IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES *****
There are other homes in this neighborhood, so if you are looking for complete seclusion and and isolation in the woods, this isn't your best bet. For that you'll need to search 10 miles or more out of Estes Park.
Check in is 4PM and check out is 10AM. I cannot accommodate early check ins and late check outs due to my cleaners' schedule. It's a super tiny mountain town and there just aren't other people to clean.

I live a few miles away and am a long time Estes Park local. My husband is a great realtor (let me know if you're interested in moving here!) and am involved in a number of community projects. I am happy to answer any questions you have -- I'm just a quick text away!
This home is in a quiet neighborhood on the side of Prospect Mountain, close to Marys Lake Road. From our deck you have a straight view to the Rocky Mountains, and Lumpy Ridge which is part of the National Park. Note that there are neighbors, so if you are looking for total isolation this isn't the best spot.
Several block away along Marys Lake Road is The Country Supermarket, our local family owned grocer, which has great deli sandwiches. Across the street is Scratch Deli, offering warm sandwiches, and the best restaurant in Estes, Bird and Jim. Also nearby is a mini golf course, the Rock Inn, and Smoking Daves BBQ.
Because our home is on the west side of town, you don't need to get stuck in downtown traffic getting into the National Park. The Park Entrance is about 5 minutes away.
During the summer, there's a free shuttle bus that goes all over Estes Park and into the National Park. You'll want to walk to the Stop 3 (Manor RV Park) or Stop 4 (National Park Village, where the nearby Country Supermarket is), both of which are within a few blocks' distance.
NOISE
Events, loud music and noises, and parties are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful of your noise levels.
The house is equipped with NoiseAware which measures sound levels and alerts us if things are too loud so I can give you a heads up. It does not record content, it only measures decibel levels so your privacy is 100% guaranteed. Guests are not to unplug it (we will also be alerted if that happens). You can read more about this device by searching for NoiseAware on the Internet.
NONPAYING GUESTS
Insurance requires that nonpaying and non-registered guests are not allowed on property. Your guest count must be correct. Note that in the town of Estes Park, INFANTS COUNT TOWARD THE MAXIMUM GUEST COUNT.
AIR CONDITIONER
Estes has a mild mountain climate in the summers but from time to time it can get hot. Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. The cool evening breeze will cool the home down quickly.
BEARS
Do NOT leave food in your car! Bears frequent this area and can break in!
MINUT
We use a Minut noise meter. It doesn't record audio, but instead monitors decibel levels, temperature and humidity. This is for the safety of guests & to protect the home. It also serves to warn us about parties & prevent noise complaints from neighbors. It's located on the cieling in the kitchen.
We ask that guests start a load of all used towels and start a load of dishes in the dishwasher. This helps the cleaners get done quicker thereby the next guests can check in earlier- You get to pay it forward!
