Cozy house on 2 acres...in a quiet neighborhood.3bedroom ,1 1/2 bath, fully equipped kitchen and spacious dining room area with A/C, sitting room with smart TV and free spark light Wi-Fi , and washer an dryer available.The back deck has a porch swing and also a small play set in the backyard for the kids. Patio in the back yard with fire pit to roast s'mores or enjoy the evening with a crackling fire,hot cocoa, and the starry, moon lite sky. A grill is in the garage if you'd rather bbq . A large drive-way for all your vehicle or trailer needs. We also have a couple security cameras located outside .

Enjoyed Our Stay

The house we as clean and comfortable. It is located in a beautiful country setting. The beds were comfortable. The owners were friendly, professional and helpful. We have stayed in other VRBO rentals in this area and this was by far the best one. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Deserves more than 5 stars

We stay in a lot of VRBO's...and this is the best of them. Nate and Ruth are providing hospitality not just a place to stay. When we travel, we cook so I have a rubbermaid tub with everything that I would need, but I wouldn't have needed to bother because it's all available. Our young granddaughter visited us and we enjoyed the swing set in the back yard, walking around the pond and watching the horse across the street. There were even toys for her. We appreciated the washer and dryer and the garage. We'll be back.

Excellent Property

The house is very nice. Great pet friendly place. It was nice to have all the comfort of home with so many extras. Host goes out of their way to make sure all the little things you don't think of are supplied. Exactly as advertised. Highly recommend.

Home away from Home

It was almost perfect. Reminded me of home. There were a few very small issues not terrible but could be fixed easily. First one the back door squeaked when opened. The hot water could of been a little warmer. Like I said just little things just like at our home. We really did enjoy it and it was so peaceful and a beautiful location. We will be returning next year .opene

Rend Lake Vacation

We love this house! Super cute, very clean and equipped with everything you need. Great location and a very quiet neighborhood. The host was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back.

WONDERFUL!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was perfect. Our grandsons loved it, as well as ourselves. I really enjoyed the swing on the back porch. I was able to sit there in the evening and watch my grandsons fish in the pond next door. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. The owners were very accommodating and also quick to respond if I had any questions. If we are ever in the area again, my hope is that this property is available and we are ale to stay again. Thank you.

Nice and quiet

The location of this property was perfect for the events we were attending. We really appreciated the abundance of towels and washcloths. Thank you! Most places only leave you one a day. We appreciated having enough, especially in this heat. We also really appreciated the items left in the fridge since we arrived too late to go to the grocery. My only suggestions for this property would be to upgrade the mattresses and swap the jersey knit sheets out for regular 100% cotton sheets. The jersey knit are hot. We enjoyed our stay and will try to stay here again next year.

Peaceful Vacation Spot

Beautiful property! This was our 3rd year staying here. It’s a lovely home with everything you could possibly need. Extremely clean & comfortable. Plenty of room for the 4 adults in our group, with great parking for the boat too.

Christmas Vacation

So nice to be close to family for a visit and each have our own rooms and the use of the garage was very nice since it snowed. They even mailed use an item we had forgotten!

Guys hunting trip

My husband and a friend take a hunting trip to IL each fall. This was the first time staying at this home. The home was clean and beds were very comfortable. The home had everything that they needed and more than they expected, like breakfast fixings, pancake mix, eggs, milk, and juice in the fridge. The host was very quick to respond to any questions. Already looking at booking in the future. Wish all VRBO owners took pride in their properties like these do.

The property was perfect. The house is spacious and comfortable. The large yard in a rural street is ideal for pets and our Vizsla loved running around and exploring the yard. Rend lake is vey close and a beautiful recreational area to explore.

Clean and well provided

The host thought of everything we might need. The house was clean and very comfortable. We didn’t encounter any problems. We also appreciated the two grills in the garage and the fire pit. This was a charming and pleasant house.

Relaxing getaway

This was a great place to stay for our fishing trip to Rend Lake. The weather and the fish didn’t cooperate as much as we would have liked but the house was better than expected! Very clean and in a nice location. The garage was a huge bonus!
