A little gem near the ocean

It was a blustery rainy day when we made the short walk to the Hop for breakfast (great breakfast). I could have stood and stared at the water endlessly but the rain made me seek shelter. Such a beautiful spot. The flat is cozy, clean and well appointed. Nice to have a separate sleeping area. I’ll be back! Jack is a wonderful host.

Comfy and gracious

The hosts couldn’t be nicer and this cozy flat is just perfect. A block from the beach. An easy walk to a fine breakfast. I’d stay here again.

Great Stay

We stayed for one overnight while in town for a music festival. Jack was a great host with excellent communication, friendly and welcoming. The property was clean and met. All of our basic needs. Check in was easy. The proximity to our music venue and the ocean was great!

Great Place

The place is beautiful and easy to access. Just a block or so away from the beach. Spacious, comfortable and private. If we are ever in the area again we would certainly stay here again.

Quiet and tidy

Exactly as advertised. A tidy, cozy, well-appointed place. Sink and micro without a stove/oven means that you can't do any real cooking, but that was fine for us. I might add a coffee table for the couch (?), but that's really it. We've stayed at bigger and more expensive places that weren't as welcoming and comfortable.

Awesome hosts!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was very comfortable and clean. The hosts truly went above and beyond to accommodate us when we came a bit unprepared for a wedding. Their hospitality made our trip even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous stay at ocean bluff!

Our family so enjoyed our time at the happy hour house! Jack and Linda were excellent abd communicating and helped us woth anything we needed.The place is well equipped and fabulously located. Quiet & Cozy Escape

Perfect space for our weekend stay. Quiet, clean and peaceful accommodations. Incredibly convenient location, parking for two cars was great, steps from the ocean, walk to restaurants, music, and church on Sunday. Only downside would be the steps up to the apartment, I expected stairs but not so steep; the railings on either side were great. If you do not have anyone with impaired mobility, this space is highly recommended.

A perfect little spot!

Happy Hour ideal for our little weekend trip for the half marathon. Close to the beach and a short walk to the village (and the starting line!). The place was spotless, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed for our family of 4, plus a great view of the ocean! Jack is a terrific host, so nice and welcoming , and really great with communication before our arrival. Would definitely go back.

Great Stay!!

Jack and Linda were fantastic hosts. The place was perfect for us, and in an amazing location. Located a block from the water, and walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores, and liquor stores. Great welcoming place by the ocean!

This was our second time at the Happy Hour apartment, and we were so happy to stay here again! The apartment is bright, well-lit, and very neat and clean. It has a nice welcoming feel. We love the area, as it is close to our family in a nearby town. Stores and restaurants are nearby, the neighborhood is very walkable, and of course there's the ocean! What really stands out for us is that Jack and Linda are super nice and accommodating, and they make us feel very much at home. You can tell that they care about their guests and go out of their way to get to know them. We hope to return soon.
