Seien Sie unser Gast in einem echten Blockhaus entfernt im Hochland der Catskill Mountains versteckt. Diese Hütte hat sechs rms und einer Veranda:

Schlafmöglichkeiten für 6 Personen bequem: 1. Schlafzimmer hat Doppelbett, 2.
Schlafzimmer zwei Einzelbetten und das Wohnzimmer ein Queen-Size-Schlafsofa.

Die Hütte befindet sich auf 32 bewaldeten Morgen, die einen eigenen ruhigen Biber hat
Teich. Genießen Sie unseren Außenfeuerstelle unter freiem Himmel.

In diesem Bereich befinden whitetail Hirsche, Bären, Türkei und mehrere Arten von Kleinwild, Hochland-Vögel sowie Süßwasserfische so Angeln und Jagen ist in Hülle und Fülle hier in Preston Hollow. Wenn Skifahren ist Ihre Sache, es ist nur eine kurze 20 Minuten Fahrt zum Windham und Hunter Berge ein bisschen länger, um Belleayre & Platterkill. Dieses ist ein perfektes Wochenende von der Hektik der überfüllten Hangseite Unterkünften. Sie können auf die Baseball Hall of Fame, Howe & Secret Caverns zu fahren und es ist nur wenige Minuten zum Wasserpark Zoom Flume.

Es gibt verschiedene Bildpostkarte Golfplätze in den umliegenden Gemeinden.
Haupt NYS Snowmobile-Trails sind nur wenige Minuten dieses gemütliche Ferienhaus.

Winter: von Dezember bis März.
Wenn Sie Ihren Aufenthalt in diesen Monaten der Planung sollten Sie auf Schnee zu planen. Die Hütte liegt auf einer Höhe, die Schnee empfängt, wenn die meisten Vorhersagen für diesen Bereich Regen erfordern. Kleiden Sie für den Winter, auch Schneeschuhe.
Die Straße ist eine Privatstraße, die wir zahlen, um gepflügt haben. Pflügen auf einer Bedarfsbasis durchgeführt und es gibt kein Salz und Sand Behandlung von der Straße. Wenn Sie hier ein Hupton außerhalb, ist es der Pflugfahrer aufgefordert werden, Ihr Fahrzeug zu bewegen, so kann er die Einfahrt zu löschen. Bitte beachten Sie und bewegen Sie Ihr Fahrzeug so schnell wie möglich.
Four Wheel oder Allradantrieb Fahrzeuge sind während dieser Zeit zu empfehlen.

Winter getaway (Perfect)

The house was perfect for our family. I could not have asked for more. Well stocked,clean,comfortable beds just a cozy little cabin tucked in the woods. Paul made check in process easy and was available for any questions we had. This property for a group of 5 is a 10. Thank you Paul and Anne for allowing us in your home. We hope to be back soon.

Restful cabin getaway

This was a perfect location for a weekend in the Catskills. Lots of very cute villages nearby and quick access to lots of hikes. The cabin sits in its own woods and is blissfully secluded making it a very peaceful place to relax outside by the fire in the evenings. Paul was very responsive and helpful. The cabin was clean, well equiped and easy to manage for the check in and check out. I would absolutely stay here again.

Second time at the cabin!

Second time at the cabin and it was even better. Beautiful cabin, in a secluded peaceful location, plenty of nature. Cabin is fully equipped, we grilled at night and sat by the beautiful fireplace inside. Hiking trails nearby. Paul is wonderful to deal with! Can’t wait to return.

We absolutely loved staying here and wish we could’ve spent a couple more nights!! this cabin is so cozy, stocked with everything you might need!! Seriously, we were all so impressed how every square inch of the cabin was utilized. Cant wait to come back next year :)

Clean and well appointed cabin

The cabin was very clean upon check in and had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. The location is very quiet and we were fortunate to be there as the leaves were all changing for fall. It was a beautiful drive to the cabin and surrounding areas.

We stayed at the cabin over Christmas break through New Years. Paul was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. The cabin itself had everything you need and was in the most peaceful, beautiful location. We enjoyed every minute.

Nice place but be wary in winter!

Overall, it was a really nice home & we had a pleasant stay. Inside the home was as displayed on the listing & we had a good time enjoying a fire inside on a very snowy weekend. Pros: Check-in was easy & flexible. The wood-stove was great to help heat the home in the freezing cold. Cozy & cute atmosphere.Cons: There was unfortunately no snow removal at all. We arrived to the home with the property completely covered in snow with no attempt at a cleared path to the home and no space to walk besides following the owners' previous footprints. *If you have ANY mobility/stability/balance concerns, I would not recommend coming here in winter. We are both young, athletic people & we were unstable walking on the high snow each time we left the home.*The bigger issue was that a storm was anticipated for the days we were there with upwards of 7-9" of snow predicted. The owner told us that a woman who lives down the street decides if/when a plow comes. By the time we were leaving, it had snowed about 4" and the plow never came. It took us nearly an hour to shovel our car out of the driveway & partly down the unplowed road. That's not including the time to just actually get the car moving off the thick layers of ice on the driveway. TLDR-It's a nice home in a cozy, remote location that would be great to visit in summer when ice & snow aren't concerns. If you want to go in winter, be prepared to handle a borderline-treacherous unplowed icy road & unshoveled property.

Quiet Cabin

Cozy and secluded log cabin with all the modern comforts and hunting themed decor. Enjoyed the peace and quiet of the natural surroundings, and walking the 50 acre property. Also really enjoyed the fire pit, grill and screened in porch. There are neighbors nearby, but you would hardly know it, heard them maybe 2 or 3 times during our two week stay. Owner is responsive and helpful. Recommended.

Perfect

A great property with great amenities. We used the fire pit almost every night and even cooked a few meals over it. The kitchen is stocked with every tool you'll need, but be sure to come with groceries because supermarkets are a half-hour drive away. The beds are comfy and the living room is cozy, especially with the wood stove on. Morning coffee on the screened porch is a must. Thanks for a terrific stay.

Paul now has a lot of rules for a cabin in the middle of the woods , you pay a cleaning fee but yet you still have to clean the property , which we do but I guess not good enough to his standards . Also beware he has cameras all over the property which are not listed in the description , he claims he doesn’t check the cameras but he knows exactly what your doing up there and the exact time You arrive . Better off saving your money

Cozy, secluded cabin in the woods

We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts make an effort to ensure that guests have amenities, and the expectations for clean up at the end of your stay are reasonable. Although the cabin is in a very peaceful and secluded location, we found the Wi-Fi connection and cell service to be surprisingly good. The hosts were clear about the need to drive a distance to obtain groceries. This is definitely the case. Expect to drive some miles to visit towns, hiking trails and other attractions. In return, you will have peace and quiet in a wooded environment. We encountered almost no traffic for miles around. One thing worth noting is that the spiral staircase to the two bedrooms is very narrow and constricted. Be aware that if you have mobility issues, this could be an problem.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely mountain home in July 2015. We absolutely loved sitting out on the enclosed porch having our morning coffee and enjoying nature. The home was clean and beautifully decorated and is the perfect space for a couple or a small family. The only caution I would have would be for elderly people or anyone not able to maneuver too well because the access to the upstairs bedrooms is via a very narrow spiral metal staircase. One other thing to note is that there is absolutely no cell service to the cabin. However there is a landline at the home for use. This was not an issue for us and was actually a blessing because it forced us to stay off our phones and enjoy each other and nature. I would not hesitate to book this home again next time we are in the Catskill area.

Wonderful property that feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, but at the same time it's well situated to hit all the Catskills and Hudson River sights. Pleasant and responsive host, clean and well appointed cabin, and comfortable beds.
