Disappointed
Property was dirty when we arrived. When brought up to the management company on day 1, it took 48 hours to get it cleaned. The cleaners remarked that it "looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while." Just imagine sand and dog hair on the floor when you walk into the house at check-in after encountering a welcome mat that had matted dog hair all over it from different dogs. I hope the owner wasn't paying cleaning fees for each renter all this time. For this, we were given a refund of an amount a little higher than their internal cleaning fee.
Website advertised 3 King beds in the house. The beds are queen beds, not King beds. This is the biggest and most alarming problem we had with this stay. We received no refund for this issue. Simply put, we would not have stayed at this property at all if it was advertised accurately. We gave the mgmt company 2 weeks to make this right and after going back and forth (they prefer a text string as communication), we were told there was nothing else that could be done. This is the worst customer service for a beach house issue I've ever experienced. Owner deserves to have a new mgmt company.
We had to ask for the code for the bottom door where the beach equipment and washer/dryer were. Nobody seemed to know it initially and ultimately someone found out the code - annoying.
We were given a partially used roll of toilet paper on check-in. Gross.
All blankets not on beds smelled like mold and we washed them twice.
