Contrary to what its name may suggest, Méribel village is not the center of Méribel, but, however, it remains a well-preserved hamlet and very practical for skiing. You go skiing directly with the “Golf” chairlift, returning via the “Lapin” slope.
In addition, the chairlift can be taken on foot to reach the cross-country ski trails or pedestrian paths of the Altiport.
In the center of Méribel village, you will find a sports store, a bakery, a supermarket and a bar/restaurant. The station's free shuttle stop (Line A) is located opposite the shops.
Ski lessons start, during school holidays, at the top of the chairlift. The rest of the year, they are based in Chaudanne. You can go down a green/blue slope towards Chaudanne or take the free shuttle.
