"Crazy Bear Den" is a BEAUTIFUL one bedroom, 2-story cabin that is PERFECT for a wonderful ROMANTIC GETAWAY!

Tucked away in a quaint area just outside of town, but you will feel miles away nestled in the mountains! This cabin is surrounded by trees making it absolutely wonderful! This Charming classic cabin has beautiful wood walls & ceilings & all wood floors. With over 1000 sq ft of living space, you will have plenty of room to relax & spend great quality time together. And nothing is more romantic than cozying up with your love next to a wood burning Fire Place listening to the crackling of the fire! 😊

The living room is Cute & Cozy with a wood burning fireplace, comfortable furnishings, new couch (not pictured) and a large 55" flat screen smart TV with Full Cable Package, High Speed WiFi and DVD player (DVD movies are available for your enjoyment). Also you will find a classic Game Console with many vintage games for 1 to 2 players.......and we always have cards & great games for extra fun!

The kitchen is fully equipped if you decide to stay home and cook that perfect meal. We also have a complimentary coffee bar for your enjoyment! Off the kitchen there is a half bath. On this level you will also find a covered front porch with a swing, a pub table for 2 with high quality comfortable swivel chairs, and a gas grill ready to go for romantic cookouts. The covered deck is especially nice if you get a little Tennessee rain!

Head on upstairs and you will find a BEAUTIFUL Master Suite with a comfy King sized bed, large bathtub, 46" flat screen TV with full cable package and a wood burning fireplace. Also in the Master Suite you will find a queen size sofa bed in case you bring the kiddos (fresh sheets are provided for sofa bed). The master bath has a tub/shower combo, with quality comfy towels. And don't forget to head out to the relaxing Hot Tub on the upper level covered deck to relax & unwind. We do supply large Spa towels for the Hot Tub. Also there are 2 wood rockers to take in the view sipping a glass of wine or your morning coffee. Crazy Bear Den is very well taken care of and very loved by our guests!

This cabin is conveniently located just 3 miles to downtown Pigeon Forge, 7 miles to Dollywood and 12 miles to Gatlinburg.

Romantic getaway

Very nice cabin with everything you need and as advertised. Very quiet! We enjoyed sitting on the deck and drinking coffee in the mornings. Bed was very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay!

All we asked for and more

This cabin was beautiful and everything we asked for when we were looking. For a couple this cabin is the perfect amount of space and the owners make it so home like feel the moment you walk in the door. The location is perfect because it's quiet when you walk outside on the porch no matter what the hour is, but close enough to town to enjoy the area or just need to get something at the store. The inside was just so cozy and our favorite spot to sit was the comfy couch on the main floor. I kept asking my husband what brand it was because I need it at home. (We never figured it out.) The detail that the owners put into the stay was just so sweet and we couldn't ask for more. They were very quick to respond when we had questions. I hope we get a chance to stay again there.

Clean and Peaceful

This stay was our third time staying at Crazy Bear Den. The cabin was clean, had everything we needed for our stay, and the hot tub was ready for us to get in upon arrival. The area is peaceful and tranquil but only 5 minutes to the parkway. The owners, Darrin and Michelle, were easy to communicate with and very prompt with replies. Thank you again for a WONDERFUL stay!!

Outstanding!!!

We LOVES the property. Easy to get to. We loved how cozy the cabin felt. Owners communicated with us all through the process. Cabin comes with everything you would need. No need to bring anything except your clothes. They have thought of everything for you. We will certainly look at staying here again when we come back.

Perfect location

The Crazy Bear Den is best cabin we have stayed at in pigeon forge. Everything you need in a cabin and some. Location is perfect too with being close to the strip as well as quick access to Teaster lane and Veterans Blvd. Darrin is a great host and made sure we knew that we could come to them if needed. Will not be disappointed with your stay here.

The cutest little cabin imaginable

I cannot recommend the Crazy Bear Den enough! I adored it and my stay there! It was the perfect property for me to relax for a couple of days. (It also would have been perfect for a couple’s getaway.) Everything was as described and there were little extra touches everywhere (like towels for the hot tub and blankets on/near the couches). The host was fantastic to interact with and truly seemed to care about my experience as a guest. If I return to the area (which I hope to), I will absolutely look to stay in this cabin again.

The Perfect Little Getaway

For those of you who are looking for the perfect home base for a romantic getaway in the Smokies, look no further. Nestled just a short drive from Pigeon Forge, the cabin sits within a quiet little neighborhood that manages to offer plenty of woodsy privacy while still remaining right next to every place you want to visit in the Smokies. The cabin offers many of the amenities ubiquitous to others of its kind (I've rented a total of five over the years, so I've seen a few), but where this property truly shines is the attention to detail that its hosts have lovingly provided. Darrin and Michelle mean it when they say they want their guests to have the best possible time in the Smokies. When my girlfriend and I entered the cabin, we were greeted with a cabin that was not only immaculately clean, but featured a pile of complimentary snacks on the kitchen table with a message from the host. Later on, when we actually began to live in the cabin for a week, we were both charmed with the small things we found: from a clean towel placed in exactly the right location before we knew we needed it, to the phone chargers placed on each end table in the master bedroom. Each and every little detail we found in this cabin seemed to say to us, "We've got you taken care of." If you want to while away your time in the Smokies without a worry or care about anything in the world, this is the cabin for you.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

We loved this well appointed cabin nestled in trees with a relaxing outdoor hot tub. Our hosts were very attentive and left plenty of towels & blankets as well as a fun tabletop arcade (we couldn't resist playing Pac-Man). The couch and bed were both comfortable, and we appreciated having a ceiling fan and TV in the bedroom. We would definitely stay here again.

STOP SEARCHING YOU FOUND IT ! ! !

Seriously, Stop looking book this Cabin! ! ! If you are looking for a great place to getaway, have some privacy but yet be close to everything. This is the one... Cabin was as described. Super clean, bed was very comfortable, hot tub was a great perk after some long days. We will 100 % be booking the Crazy bear again for out next trip to Tennessee! Loved it!

Wonderful!! Beautiful cabin, wonderful location, very clean, sweet owners who have thought of everything. Perfect for our younger kids to sleep on the pull out couch. The porch swing was my favorite with coffee every morning. My kids enjoyed Ms. Pac-Man and some card and board games. We will be back and rent again. Wish we could have stayed longer than 6 nights!

14th Anniversary

I loved the location and the beautiful cabin we stayed in. Bed and couch were pretty uncomfortable but that’s it. Everything was furnished and ready when we got there. Thank you to the owners for leaving us a box of candy and beer for our anniversary.

Fantastic place

Fantastic property Darrin and Michelle (hosts) have thought of everything with making this a comfortable stay. The property has lots of trees and is quiet and tranquil. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing as well as the outdoor hotub. The table top video game system (old school) was a blast for my wife and I. It is about a 10 minute to the main drag where all the action is which is nice. Dollywood about 15 minutes from the cabin i highly recommend a visit. We saw two bear cubs in the driveway the day before we left. Book this cabin it will not disappoint. Jeff D.

Yes yes and yes!!

The house was perfect. Darrin and Michelle respond quickly and actually care about the comfort of their guests. They even left us a little welcome treat which was so sweet! You do have visible neighbors from both sides but it did not bother us at all. The road up was a breeze and the cabin was everything and more. I love sleeping in the cold so I appreciate the extra fan. Thank you both again!

Super clean, Nice Host, Great Hot Tub, Inferior Bed, Couch

Wonderfully clean and organized house. Kitchen had everything you could need, amenities were abundant. They even had things you didn't realize you may need but were nice to include. Hot tub was a great bonus, though we couldn't find any instructions about how to use the jets in the hot tub. Main problem was the bed mattress was caved in so badly, it wasn't possible to get a good night's sleep and the pillows were old and thin. The couch had the same thing going on as the mattress and wasn't usable. We just sat on the floor or sat at the kitchen table because the couch wasn't usable. Recommend this spot highly if you don't care about mattresses or couches.

Fantastic getaway

Nice little house on a hillside. From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be an enjoyable experience. The house is located in a wooded mountainous area and has all of the amenities we expected. Not as private as it would seem from pictures but still far enough away from other homes that the spring foliage provided some privacy. Great for a nice romantic getaway!
