Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit, Ausstattung, Zustand der Unterkunft und Kommunikation
I actually would like to file a complaint about this property, and possibly apply for a partial, if not, complete refund.
1. The second we walked in, the entire living room, furniture, and bedroom area smelled like cigarette smoke. The host had told us that the cigarette smoke would actually enter from smoking from the courtyard and in through the window, but you could clearly smell smoke on the sofa that you can't wash off from a single cycle.
2. The integrity of the bed in the room was compromised, meaning the springs were broken and there was partially no cushioning.
3. We had asked about certain amenities like a hair dryer, but was no where to be found after the host had told us about where it was.
4. The toilet wasn't draining properly, as water was leaking from its base every time we flushed.
Spoke to the host about this via the VRBO app but seemed like they didn't want to communicate much further about remedying above concerns, so we checked out the day after and sought alternative accommodation.
