Place to stay for a state tourneys

Needed a place to stay with my son for his tournament located in state college. Great location, clean cabin, exactly what we needed. Was able to squeeze in some fishing. Highly recommended if you want a simple, clean, quiet place to stay.

PSU Playoff game stay!!

We stayed here for the weekend for the Penn State playoff game and it was a fantastic stay. Owner was accommodating and turned the heat on for us before we arrived. Everything was clean, will def look to book again!!

The place was well stocked and very clean. Check in/out was easy. It was very easy to find. It’s in a neighborhood. Not sure why I expected it to be more isolated. The bed is like sleeping on a wooden floor. I sleep on a firm mattress but this was excessively firm. Was perfect for a PSU game weekend (except the bed).

Perfect cabin retreat

Loved this cabin. Close enough to local amenities, a good home base for accessing easily a dozen state parks and several state forests.Cabin itself had a cozy feel in a small woodsy neighborhood. We will be back again!

Lovely place!

Lovely, cozy cabin! Only complaint is the bed was quite small for 2 people and honestly uncomfortable. Put in a new queen size bed and the place would be perfect!

This property is absolutely gorgeous. So relaxing and convenient. It’s far enough out to get away from the hustle and bustle. Yet close wnogh.(20-30) min away from shopping events and a college town. My girlfriend and I booked this to attend my eldest daughter’s wedding in Bellefonte. We will be back!

Perfect place for fishing trip

This cabin is perfectly located close to Bald Eagle state park and lake for a fishing trip. We enjoyed the quiet, comfortable, and well appointed cabin for our stay. Be ready to disconnect as there is no wifi or cable. We were able to access the internet on our phone via mobile data

Comfortable and clean

Everything was clean and comfortable. We spent a lot of time at Bald Eagle so it was perfect for the proximity to local places. We appreciated the comfort of a well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, etc). The only slight issue for me was the hardness of the bed, but to be fair, my wife was fine. Also, we needed to change the dates of our stay at the last minute and our host responded graciously.

Quiet retreat on crowded football weekend

We stayed here when we visited for a Penn State football game. The house and property were a quiet retreat from the very chaotic and hectic college environment after the game. Beautiful hiking at the state park down the road. Nice place to disconnect (no WiFi) and unwind. In game day traffic it took 45 min to get to and from the parking deck we parked at. It was a chilly November weekend, but the cabin was nice & warm with all the built in heaters and temperature control.

Great weekend getaway

Was a wonderful place for the wife and I to get away for the weekend. Had everything we needed to hangout and relax. Has some unique charm. Definitely want to come back during the warmer months to take advantage of the front porch and bald eagle being so close by.
