Willkommen in unserer ruhigen Feriensuite in B. C. 's natürliche Umgebung! Genießen Sie den spektakulären Blick auf die Stadt und das Meer von dieser Suite auf Gartenebene.

Das Schlafzimmer bietet ein Queensize-Bett und schöne Bettwäsche. Das zweite Schlafzimmer verfügt über zwei Etagenbetten. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit kostenlosem Internet, einer bequemen Couch und Kabel-TV ausgestattet. Es gibt ein komplettes Badezimmer und eine komplette Küche mit einem Essbereich, der sich zu einer privaten, 500 Quadratmeter großen Sonnenterrasse öffnet. Das Deck ist perfekt zum Faulenzen oder sogar für ein Yoga-Retreat. Vor-Ort-Aktivitäten umfassen Tischfußball, Badminton und Häkeln.

Unser Haus liegt am Ende der höchsten Straße (1.000 Fuß über dem Meeresspiegel) an der Seite des Grouse Mountain. Es liegt neben einem bewaldeten Park mit vielen Wander- und Mountainbike-Strecken. Die Ruhe dieses Ortes ist auch ein großartiger Rückzugsort für Yoga. Die Lage ermöglicht einen einfachen Zugang von der Autobahn # 1. Eine 5-10-minütige Fahrt bringt Sie zum Grouse Mountain, zur Capilano Suspension Bridge oder zum Londsdale Quay Waterfront Shopping & Seabus. Eine Fahrt von 15 bis 25 Uhr bringt Sie in die Innenstadt, zum Fährterminal oder zu zahlreichen Stränden. Beautiful scenery, quiet neighborhood

Thoroughly enjoyed our time in North Vancouver at Iva's place. The neighborhood was quiet, and the unit had all we needed. Older furnishings and decor, but that didn't impact the comfort of the place. Bed is firm (but comfortable!) Easy communication with our host.

Amazing forest retreat

We really enjoyed our stay in Iva & Steve’s guest house. It’s in a really green and enchanted part of North Vancouver with gorgeous views and beautiful bird songs. It’s small and cozy but the deck is expansive with a lovely garden. Iva and Steve are kind and friendly hosts that gave great tips for local things to do & see such as Deep Cove. We hope to return again.

Welcoming

Iva’s place was clean and comfortable. The view was lovely. Parking was easy. There is a steep driveway and a flight of stairs, so do keep that in mind if you book. We arrived late in the evening. Iva gave us clear instructions to get in, and then stopped by to say hello in the morning. She gave us a few suggestions of places to visit and eat, which was nice. We would definitely stay here again

Great hosts, neighborhood and fantastic views

The hosts were great, great communication, very friendly and accommodating. The view is even better in person. The space was great for our family. The room with bunk beds was very dark and quiet, my 8yo slept great. The neighborhood is very nice and the location is great. We were in town for a hockey tournament at North Shore Winter Club, but also enjoyed the hiking trails right next to the house as well as Grouse mountain, Lynn canyon and Capilano, which are all less than 10 minutes away.

Great people, good for passing by, but not very family friendly

The hosts were very nice, and the apartment is good for people passing by and enjoying a small retreat with basic needs, but as we were with our 6-months old daughter for more than a week, it wasn’t the best experience as we are underneath the hosts and we could hear pretty much everything upstairs . We thank them nonetheless for their hospitality, but we recommend the place for people not travelling with babies or young kids who need to go to sleep early.

Iva City's Get Away

Not only the host prep us with throrough info. before our trip, Iva greeted us with much welcomed and care! My wife and 11-yr son had a wonderful stat at this tranquil, private, and clean 2br apartment with spectacular view of Vancouver City, and beyond, yet withn 30 min. of drive to downtown Vancouver. We will definately visit Iva again later in the year!

Amazing view and location!!

My group and I had a great stay! Iva and Steve were lovely to meet and were very helpful and accommodating. The property itself had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable to stay in. The view from the property is beautiful!!! We really enjoyed seeing the sunsets from the deck. The location is also great if you want to be close to the city and close to nature! Overall, we have no complaints and would love to stay here again!

Best view in Vancouver

Very lovely apartment on the lower level of owner's house on a very quiet cul de sac. Very well appointed. But it is the views that are over the top. From the Eat in Kitchen , the living room (small but comfortable) and the main bed room you have a beautiful view of Vancouver, the bay, and Islands further out. Then there is the porch--relaxing there looking over the town/bay with a drink at the end of the day--amazing! The owners are lovely, responsive and very helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do. We will be back!

Lovely view & perfect location!

It was our 1st time to Vancouver. We loved seeing the view of the city from the porch. Iva and Steve had great hospitality and the location of this property was perfect for getting downtown or going up into the mountains to enjoy the outdoors.

Comfortable suite in a superb location

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay in this very nice comfortable suite which is located in a very nice quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. It was an excellent base for exploring Vancouver and we particularly enjoyed the fabulous views over the city from the large deck area. North Vancouver stunning views and forest walks

This was an ideal base for our family of four to explore North & West Vancouver. We especially liked the fabulous view across to Vancouver City (even more impressive at night) and Vancouver Island in the background. Forest walks from the doorstep was also a big plus for us. Apartment was well equipped and comfortable, hosts friendly and welcoming.

Super view and fantastic location

We stayed one week at this spacious, bright and clean apartment which overlooks the city of Vancouver and parts of Vancouver island. The view was fantastic as well as its location in a quiet residential neighborhood close to hiking paths, Grouse mountain and other attractions in nature. In spite of that, it's only a 10 minute car ride to Lonsdale Quai where the seabus departs for the city. Another huge plus was the communication with the landlords. Iva went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She was very personable and had some great advice and sightseeing recommendations for us. We truly enjoyed our time at her place and can highly recommend it to anyone who likes the balance between sightseeing in a vibrant city and being close to nature at the same time.

Between the sea and the mountain

Apartment very well located in a quiet dead end. The view is just beautiful. The apartment is functional and fairly close to downtown Vancouver. The family is very welcoming and gives very good advice when needed. A wonderful place for a quiet and unforgettable holiday.

Phantastische Lage

Ruhige Lage mit schönen Ausblick über Vancouver. Früh beim Frühstück die schöne Waldluft genießen, abends die Ruhe und den Ausblick. Gute Ausgangslage für Wanderungen. Auch die lebendige City ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und dem Fahrzeug schnell zu erreichen. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter (Englisch und Deutsch)

Loved it

At first I would have to say that I was a bit hesitant due to the distance from the city, but after strolling through town, taking hikes right next door with a wonderful stream, my family was happy. We have two kids and they were in awe of the place. Iva, thank U.K. so much for making this place so family friendly and proving toys and games for the kids. The view is amazing and the area is peaceful we felt so relaxed. This place has everything you want and everything you need or want to visit on the north side( Capilano/ Lynn park) is five minutes away. If you want to go to the city, the ferry is the best way, which is a five minute drive to the terminal Can't wait to see this place in the winter.

Great for small families

This property was great for visiting with kids. My 3 year old daughter loved the toys in the toy closet, my 8 year old son loved the foosball table and the space to play in the yard. I enjoyed taking the kids on the trails in the woods next door, and my wife enjoyed sitting and looking at the million-dollar view of Lions Gate Bridge and Vancouver Harbor. The listing is for what I'd call a Mother-in-law unit, a separate unit in the lower part of the main house. You do get a bit of everyday noise from the main house and while the unit does have heat we couldn't find any heating controls in the unit aside from a portable heater. We were glad we brought earplugs and sweaters, but we're light sleepers with early bedtimes and from a warm climate.

Fantastic view!

We had a great stay at Iva's place. We stayed three weeks with our kids, and the location was perfect for our adventures on the North Shore and in the Vancouver area. The location at the top of the hill was near to many hiking trails and a short drive to the Sea Bus to go downtown. The drive to Cypress and Seymour for skiing was less than half an hour. The drive to Whistler was about an hour and a half. Iva and Steve were great hosts. They respected our privacy and space, but were accommodating and helpful. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed.

Amazing space. Highly recommended

The view from this unit is incredible, overlooking downtown with ocean views from the main living space and main bedroom. Very clean unit, with all the amenities needed. Outdoor space is an added bonus with chairs and couch to enjoy the views from the deck. Lastly, Iva and Steve are great owners and are available for any questions in regards to the Vancouver area. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet space in Vancouver

Super

This is a fantastic rental. Location is especially great if you enjoy hiking - this is on the highest street in the North Shore, and so woods and very well-kept trails are on your doorstep, and it is but a short drive to the foot of Grouse Mountain. Words cannot describe the view from the patio, of the city, harbour, and beyond to Vancouver Island. The suite itself is very comfortable, and the hosts are most gracious and helpful. Highly recommended.

cozy retreat with fantastic views of Vancouver

We stayed two weeks at this apartment with our 12 year-old daughter. The property is as depicted in the photos -- small but adequate for our two-week stay. The suburban location is quiet but you will need a car if you are doing lots of sight-seeing as public transportation, while good to metro Vancouver, would be less than ideal if you are going elsewhere. This was a good fit for us as we spent most days doing activities. I think it would be good for any couple or family with up to two school-aged children. I would not recommend it for those with very young children as there is a steep hill outside the door which could be a safety issue. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. If you are wanting a boat tour, Steve can provide that at an extra fee, which was very reasonable. We really enjoyed this part of the trip and highly recommend it!
