## Emplacement
The 16th arrondissement of Paris, is located on the right bank of the Seine, west of the city. It is bordered to the east by the Seine and to the west by the Parisian ring road, except for the Bois de Boulogne which is located on the other side of this road.
The district is mainly residential, but nevertheless visited by tourists for its many museums and remarkable places like the Trocadero or the Bois de Boulogne. It is home to the largest number of embassies and consulates in Paris as well as world-famous sports facilities such as the Parc des Princes or the Roland-Garros stadium. Counting the hundreds of hectares of the Bois de Boulogne, the 16th arrondissement is the greenest in the capital.
