Welcome to Mackinac Cabin
Mackinac Cabin offers a cozy and comfortable retreat in the heart of Michigan’s eastern Upper Peninsula. One of eleven charming cabins at Les Cheneaux Landing Resort, it is located just off M-134, a designated Michigan Scenic Byway, just 35 miles northeast of the Mackinac Bridge.
Nestled between the picturesque towns of Cedarville and Hessel, this two-bedroom cabin features a queen bed in one room, a full-size bed in the other, and a futon in the living room for additional sleeping space.
The spacious, open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area provides plenty of room to relax, while recent 2023 updates—including vinyl flooring, modern kitchen cabinets, countertops, a new electric range, and refreshed bedroom furnishings—enhance its charm. The cabin’s pine wood-paneled walls create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind.
A picnic table and charcoal grill invite outdoor dining, and while the cabin does not have a direct lake view, it’s just a short stroll to 250 feet of beautiful waterfront, featuring a sandy swimming beach and docks on Snows Channel—perfect for boating, fishing, and kayaking.
The resort offers a sandy, swimming beach area, featuring a floating swim mat for endless water fun, as well as volleyball and basketball courts, a swing set and horseshoe pits. In the evening guests can enjoy a peaceful stroll to the docks that extend out into the channel to watch the beautiful sunsets.
