Great location, easily walk to downtown alive, art walk, and festivals! Wonderfully conveniently located between Buchanan Heights and Cite des Arts.

Rarely empty! This is a wonderful spot to spend the night or a few months--whichever suits your lifestyle! The big blue house consists of 3 units. Each is very private. In fact, only Unit B is currently available as the other two have been closed for renovations. This listing is for Unit B, the far left unit of the triplex. Ample parking--a rare find in downtown Lafayette.
Utilities, cable, internet, smart TV stations, security system included in rent. No subletting allowed. Short term rentals are permitted. Pets ARE allowed for a per pet fee.
The apartment has two bedrooms: The Fais Do Do Room and The Mardi Gras Room. The Fais Do Do room (debatably meaning "faire dormir" or "go to sleep" and also refers to a Cajun community dance) has a queen size bed and a small children's couch that converts into a little kid sleep area. This room could not accommodate any more that two adults and two small children. The small sofa would not be comfortable for a teenager or adult. This room has very high ceilings, plenty of closet space but no TV.
The Mardi Gras Room features TWO queen size beds and a built in antique armoire original to the home. A small smart TV hangs on the wall in the corner of the room and a glass top table that could be used for meals, cards, board games, or as a work station. Four adults could sleep in this room, but there would be no privacy between the couples as it is a shared room without dividers.
The living area has a small TV that can pivot for the cook in the kitchen and the guests sitting at the built in bar area to watch TV or enjoy music while they prepare meals or snacks. The kitchen features a custom-made rolling island.
The home has 2 lawn chairs that could be used to sit out during parades or other festivities around the downtown area. This home is on some of Lafayette's Mardi Gras parade routes.
Check in is at 4pm and check out is 11am.
