A popular destination for tourists from all over the world, the capital of the French Riviera is nestled between the Big Blue and the surrounding mountains, sometimes draped in white, sometimes lined with an intense green.

Along the sea is the famous Promenade des Anglais, a prestigious avenue where palm trees line pretty Haussmann houses and sumptuous Belle Époque hotels, such as the Negresco or the Westminster. One settles on one of the many terraces facing the immense azure expanse of the Mediterranean or directly on its pebble beaches forming a monochrome of gray and blue. The most sporty will enjoy the road designed for cyclists or roller skaters.

Push your way to explore the secular heritage of the so-called "Nissa la bella". In the heart of Old Nice, criss-cross the winding streets with colorful houses making all the charm of this timeless place and discover baroque buildings and churches like the church of Gesù, the Lascaris palace or the Sainte-Réparate cathedral. Stroll between the clear ochre facades with turquoise shutters revealing authentic Provencal home. It is highly recommended to accompany this escape with an ice cream from Nice whose striking flavors have nothing to envy to those of its Italian neighbor! Take advantage of this walk to discover local specialties. The area has small traditional shops showcasing the jewels of Provence: lavender, spices, herbs, scented candles… mix their scents with those of the socca, an amazing corn cake whose reputation extends beyond borders. Also not to be missed is the famous Cours Saleya, where florists, fruit and vegetable merchants and local producers proudly unveil their stalls forming an incredible palette of colors. On Monday, this place is reserved for second-hand dealers. Notice to amateurs!
In the evening, Cours Saleya comes alive with its many restaurants, bars and café terraces.
