SNOW CHATEAU sits on 2 acres with large open lawn surrounded by tall evergreens offering extra privacy! SNOW CHATEAU has a large living room, spacious kitchen that has everything you need for family meals in the dining room. This lovely old-style and much beloved country home has ceiling fans in most rooms and is tucked in the trees for cool summer nights. Enjoy the huge wood fireplace during warm cozy winters. SNOW CHATEAU provides wood to the guest at no extra cost. The basement hosts a lounge area with a pool table and extra sleeping areas. SNOW CHATEAU has a garage which is perfect for cycle enthusiasts of all kinds. Park your bikes to keep them dry! The Driveway is perfectly flat with flat entrance into garage for touring bikers and extra towels provided for wiping down your bikes. An extra room in the garage allows for a nice laundry area with a boot change area for skiers/snowboarders/hikers/bikers. Good for stowing extra gear to prepare for a relaxing evening on the large deck for grilling under the trees. An extra fridge is also available in the garage for larger parties to store extra supplies. For games night, there are extra card-tables and chairs in the garage for your use as well as extra deck furniture and added chairs for around the large fire pit for the evening S'More sessions!
SNOW CHATEAU is located in the heart of Canaan Valley, 5 miles to Davis and 2 miles to Canaan Valley State Park. Close to all the attractions in the area including Timberline Mountain by Perfect North, Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center, Blackwater Falls State Park, White Grass Ski Area, Dolly Sods, and more. SNOW CHATEAU is tucked into the trees for privacy and a feeling of escaping into the woods. This home is fabulous for cool summer escapes from the heat, and winter escapes to the slopes with a flat driveway which is easily accessible in winter. Sleeps 10 people comfortably and will allow one air bed brought by guest for sleeping up to 12.

Please note that our carpet, while outdated is very clean. However, we are installing new flooring now and almost complete. This home is a gem of a location!
