Very peaceful

My wife and I loved the stay!! Though it's 12 miles out of town, it's not hard to get out and go anywhere in the area. The lake was beautiful, we had great weather, a VERY clean room! We had a fire pit, both wood or propane and access to a gas grill. I recommend the stay, either just sit around and relax, or to use it as a base camp to explore the area! THE only problem, and it was not at all the fault of the hosts, we lost power for about 8 hours due to a traffic accident in town. Jerry offered to put us up in a hotel for the night. We stayed, then he rounded up a lantern and 5 gallons of fresh water for us if needed. We just sat out by the lake near the fire and watched the sun go down and enjoyed the evening! Power came back around 3:30 am. Nice place, and good people!!

Dont pass this place up-- its amazing!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights, and the trip started out rough because, and i cannot stress this enough, read Terrys email about booking because one road in is literally 17 miles of really bad road, but theres another way there thats much better. I didnt read the email and wish i had. But once we got there, our stay was paradise!! Nestled on a cute little lake with all the amenities you could ask for at a cabin. We took a paddle pontoon out around the lake, played bags, went for walks and just took in all the beauty out there. Terry was an amazing host, even when we needed a cheese shredder and a plug in block at 930 he brought them right over. Will most definitelu be back, this place is incredible!! Thanka a million Terry!!!

Great Little U.P. getaway!

My wife and I were very happy with our stay at Jack Pines resort. The owner was very welcoming and generous during our stay. The area surrounding the lake was very nice and we loved taking out the paddle boat! Highly recommended!

Exceptional time, location, and hosts.

We had a wonderful time at Red Pine Resort. The accomodations were clean, and had a variety of toys to play with. The hosts Terry and Sue were the best, sharing stories about the local wildlife, things to do, and made our stay a complete success. We saw Bald Eagles nesting and hunting on the lake, fox, and deer. We swam, rode the paddle boat, and had other options to enjoy the lake. Thanks Terry and Sue for an exceptional experience.

Jack pines resort was so beautiful and peaceful.. we really enjoyed our stay. Couldn't have asked for a better host. Terry was there to greet us when we arrived, ask us if we had any questions or need anything until this to just let him know. If we do. Let my husband borrow a fishing pole and tackle so he could enjoy. The lake... The room was clean and comfortable. One of the most relaxing trips we have taken. We will definitely be back. Friendly and well done

The owners were friendly and helpful in getting us settled in. The unit was very clean and well stocked. The lake was serene and calming. The owners have maintained the grounds and add fire pits and decks to enjoy the views. We would stay there again.

A Little “Slice of Heaven”

Terry & Susan convey warm hospitality by providing a little “slice of Heaven” for the guests they serve. We are grateful to have discovered their Red Pines Resort. This beautiful location on the lake, clean comfortable lodging, gorgeous outdoor patio, fire pit, and the waterfront truly exceeded our expectations. Little piece of heaven on the lake

The cabins are tucked away in the middle of the forest but close enough to Marquette that you can easily get your tourist fix and some nice trails nearby too. Terry and Susan are friendly, accommodating hosts. Plenty of kayaks and other water toys and grills to enjoy. Can't wait to come back.

Perfect UP stay!

Had an amazing time - perfect little spot on a perfect little lake. everything exactly as advertised! It's not luxury - it's everything you need and clean, well appointed and with a great, friendly host! We absolutely loved the deck, firepit, kayaks and paddleboat. As an added bonus - amazing fireworks on the lake for the Independence Day celebration. Highly recommend!

If you like the outdoors this place is for you! The property is right on the lake and we had so much fun! We spent every night out by the fire 😊 The property is super clean! Terry and Susan were amazing! We had a lot of rain during our stay and they went above and beyond to make it memorable! They were easy to get a hold of if we had questions.
