Pros: Grounds are fairly clean, Location (close to parks, grocery stores, shopping), Family friendly (activities for all ages i.e. multiple pools, mini golf, boating, water park, bowling, arcades, and spa), Onsite restaurant, Onsite mini market, Onsite Shuttles, Complementary Laundry (some have in unit washer/dryer), Kitchen/Kitchenet in units, New units/updated units, Staff/Guests are pretty friendly over all, If you want to learn about their time share program you can receive free gifts, I felt safe at all hours of the day/night regardless of where I was at on the property
Cons: Check in/out times 4:00 p.m.-10:00 a.m., Checking in can be unorganized, Traffic trying to get on/off/in the property especially on the weekend can be crazy, Limited parking at check in and by the buildings (you may have to park in the parking garage and get shuttled to your unit), Outdated units/buildings, Not all rooms are cleaned properly, Not all rooms that are vacant are available, Not all rooms face the property, You don’t always get the building/room of choice, Not all units have washer/dryer in them, The community washers/dryers and their room are not always clean, While this is a drug free location to include medical marijuana you constantly smell marijuana, Most amenities you have to pay for, Prices for food/amenities can be a bit pricy, Staffing Shortage, If your traveling alone you may be board
My personal experience: When checking in I was put in the new building which was great but when getting there I was put on the 8th floor that faced the road. When learning of that I went to the front desk to see if I could get a different room and was given a bit of a run around. I was then moved to another building. When arriving at that building I noticed it was a bit run down, the room had a musty smelly to it, it was dirty, and there were bugs crawling on the floor. I then went to the check in again and was put into another building. While this building was renovated the room was dirty. The community laundry room was dirty as well and I had new clothing damaged. At this point I was so exhausted I said forget it and just kept a dirty room. Outside of those things went pretty well and I enjoyed myself for the most part (minus the kids randomly ringing my door bell and being loud at all hours of the night).
Recommendations: Call ahead with your room requests, Arrive early, Hit up a grocery store before hand, If your single find a friend to join you
