Beach front family vacation house on BroadKill Beach

We long dreamed of having a home by the beach. A few years ago, we built this beautiful beachfront residence for our family on BroadKill Beach near the cozy town of Milton, DE. Inspired by New England coastal aesthetics, we designed a two-story fog gray mid-Atlantic style house complete with cupola. Featured in Coastal Style magazine in August of 2017, the property includes a garage, outdoor shower, and full back deck overlooking the Delaware Bay only steps away from the beach through our private access path. You will love the secluded sandy backyard and convivial seating area around the fire pit.

As you step inside the inviting foyer, you immediately notice the view of the bay through the oversized sliding doors off of the open concept living area. The main level features a gourmet kitchen, a dining area and family room with gas fireplace, custom 300 gallon salt water fish tank, a half bath, and a secluded bedroom suite.

On the second level, you will find five additional rooms including a four-bunk bed bedroom, a jack and jill bathroom, another bedroom with private balcony, and the expansive master bedroom suite as well as a study nested around a large picture window overlooking the bay. Nearly every window in our home enjoys a water view of the front or the back of the Delaware Bay. From the first floor French doors to the second floor balconies and study window, you will delight in the panoramic view that stretches from Cape Henlopen, DE to Cape May, NJ.
