Designed by talented French architect, Pierre Cristol in 1953, Villa Casalina is a spacious Mid-Century Villa located just off the beach and opposite the marina. The sun-drenched roof terrace and lush tropical gardens create an oasis of calm just a few minutes from the centre of town. After 30 years living on the Cote d’Azur, this is the beautiful home that host Paul has lovingly created for himself and his guests by sympathetically renovating this architectural gem whilst ensuring it offers all the comforts of modern life.
Conveniently located in Golfe Juan, less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and Marina, it is one of only a handful of villas that can claim such a privileged location.
The space
The Villa is located just off the coast road which offers it privacy and calm. A lush tropical garden with hot tub leads into the closed verandah and onto the living and dining area and fully equipped kitchen. You will find the first bathroom of the house next to the kitchen. A light-filled staircase leads you upstairs to three comfortable bedrooms (2 doubles and one with 2 single beds), served by a bathroom with bath and shower which retains some of it's retro feel and a separate WC. The main bedroom leads to a sunny roof terrace, with views of the yachts in the marina and the celebrated Cap d'Antibes, ideal for private sunbathing or enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. The Villa offers many cosy seating areas, both inside and out: dine under the old Weeping Pepper tree, or sip a chilled glass of rose in the shade of the grape vine. After a day on the beach, relax in the hot tub.
Other things to note
The villa is fitted with Solar Panels and is very energy efficient. The Villa has a fast fibre internet connection with routers supplying Wifi on both floors. There are no televisions in the house - we love to just relax and enjoy being with family and friends , either in the comfortable living areas or the garden. One car can be parked on the property.
