Great stay and value

Property is ideally located for the casinos. A little bit further then advertised but still an easy drive to both. Communication with Joe was easy and the house was exactly what we expected. There was 8 of us and it catered to all of our needs. 3 bathrooms was a huge plus with that many people. Overall quite happy with our stay

Great spot tucked away in Norwich

Kitchen island is great for meals/games, pool table and sound system are added bonuses that make you feel at home if you’re staying in for the night. If you’re going out, the Mohegan Sun and other attractions are only a few minutes drive, but just far enough that you’re away from the action when coming home at the end of the night.

What a hidden gem tucked only a couple minutes from casinos and food/drinks. Stayed here with some friends, house was super spacious with many places for people to crash. Rooms are good sizes and all the amenities matched up perfect with what was listed and in the pictures!!

The house was great to stay in and it was conveniently located. We didn’t want to leave the house once we checked in the theater and the pool table was all we needed. The host was quick to respond to our questions. I would definitely stay with him again.

If you are looking for a place to stay right near the casinos, this is the place. Great layout, clean, and a 2 min ride to Mohegan. Joe was easy to get a hold of and would answer any questions we had. Over all a great experience.

Nice, clean space for a large group of people to enjoy.

I booked this Vrbo for my boyfriend's 21st birthday because of its proximity to the casinos. There were 10 of us and there was we comfortable fit in the space with each bedroom having 2 people and a few people choosing the couch. I had never rented a house before this and it was a great first experience. I wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised when there were plates, pots and pans, cups, and assorted kitchen utensils in the house. There was also a washer and dryer which came in handy. It was only about 15 to 20 minutes away from Foxwoods and surrounded by a variety of places to get food and stores like CVS. Overall it was a very nice home and a good fit for our group!

Good place for the price for a weekend get away with family

The house and the property were as expected. We were away to visit Mystic Seaport and Essex Train so it was a central point for us to both. We had kids so did not go to the casino, but it was very close. The rooms were a decent size and we also utilized the firepit in the back yard. Took a bit to get used to how to work the entertainment system, but the young kids figured it out. Only improvement would be some additional silverward. We like to make breakfast when we stay at these homes and could only find one butterknife and maybe 1 or 2 small spoons. Otherwise it was a good time and would recommend.

Comfortable, good location

We had a very nice time staying at this house. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and living area was great for a large group of people. The projector was very cool for having a movie night and speakers sounded good! Having a deck was nice too. We felt safe in the neighborhood. Plenty of parking in the driveway available. It was a good location, very close to casinos and about 40 min drive to RI beaches. Also there was plenty around us (cvs, Dunkin, Starbucks, gas stations etc) in case we needed anything. Also the showers had good water pressure! The only criticism I have is that the floors were dirty. All of our feet were dirty on the bottoms when walking around barefoot. Otherwise the place was clean and host was easy to communicate with.

Needs work

The house was not clean. The sliding window was smeared, there were beer cans and trash by the fire pit, the ceiling fan in the living room was filthy, there was mold on the lower bathroom ceiling. The bed in the lower bedroom was broken. We tried to fix the legs and the slats, but it was horrible to sleep on. The light in the laundry room was burned out. The bed in the master upstairs was about 18" off the ground. Just a note: The stairs going up to the main level were very narrow and steep. Take this into consideration if you have elderly people in your group.

Great stay for Miss A!

Our group of 8 stayed for a full week while in town for the Miss America competition being held at Mohegan Sun. Lots of room to relax, comfy beds & well appointed kitchen were much appreciated. *Missing silverware from earlier review was located in the narrow rack at the very top of the dishwasher:-). Took advantage of the complimentary K-cups & loved using the pellet stove to take the chill out of the air. Joe was responsive when questions arose, like figuring out the projector, & was willing to chat by phone to expedite a solution. He also welcomed our suggestion of adding a table/chairs to allow for ample seating & playing games. **Highly recommend La Stella Pizzaria in Norwich! Amazing Italian cuisine & staff is the best!
