Cozy Guest Cottage Nestled in the Junipers

2 bedroom/2bath 2020 manufactured home on 10 acres with beautiful mountain views in a quiet country setting. Fully furnished kitchen, dining nook & breakfast bar, livingroom, king master and queen bedroom in split level floorplan. There is a washer/dryer located within the unit. Nice front covered deck and back deck with *firepit, *BBQ and patio furniture. Lots of local activities including golfing, skiing, boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, ATV trails, shopping and local events such as arts & crafts festivals, rodeos, farmer's markets, car shows, plus much more.

Please note we are not set-up for small children, therefore, no children under the age of 12 please. Additionally, the guest limit is 4 people.

Dogs are welcomed upon approval from Owners and a brand new mini dog park has been placed in the front yard for smaller fur babies. There is a 2 pet limit under 20 lbs. There is a $75 pet fee per stay with the exception of certified service dogs which must be documented.

There is plenty of room for free parking - all vehicles must be approved by Owners. BRING YOUR TOYS WITH YOU....there's lots of trails for ATV's/4-wheel drives etc. and plenty of lakes for all water sports including jet ski's, kayaks, boats, etc.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OR VAPING INSIDE THE UNIT. * Smoking is allowed outside on the deck.

What a lovely home , very clean with a cozy feel. So relaxing and quiet being out of Showlow, but close enough if you want to go into town. Spent many hours on the front porch enjoying the cool weather and watching the monsoon storms all around us and the rain. Definitely a 5 star experience and one we would like to do again. Recommend it to all.

Owners are awesome and very accommodating and if anything was needed they were right there .

We are both Arizona Natives who have lived in the White Mountains for over 25 years. We were business owners for the area's only locally existing alarm company for over 22 years installing security, fire, cameras, access control and other technical systems for both commercial, governmental and residential clients. We had a customer base of 500+ clients including Show Low Public School District and the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Virtually every residence type from mobile homes to luxury estates located in the exclusive communities like Torreon, Sierra Pines, Bison Ridge, and Pinetop Country Club. We are respected members of our community and have had memberships with a variety of groups/clubs from Chamber of Commerce's, Arizona Rangers (Commander of Show Low Chapter), Mountain Motorcycle Association of Arizona (Business and Public Relations Officers), White Mountain Kennel Club (Public Relations Officer) and a few other social/civic groups. We retired in 2015 and are happily living the dream in a community where family and friendships are lovingly nourished. If you've never been to our area, welcome to one of the most beautiful and friendly spots in Arizona. We hope you enjoy your stay and please let us know if there's anything we can do to make your stay everything you hoped for and so much more!!!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Originally located in Lakeside where our son graduated from Blue Ridge High School, we moved to White Mountain Lake to be close to Mom and Dad. The original plan was to provide Mom with comfortable temporary housing while we built a much larger home for the three of us after Dad passed. We lost Dad at the end of 2017 and began the process of moving Mom over to our property by purchasing her "cottage" in 2019. Unfortunately, Mom had already been diagnosed with a fatal immune system disease causing severe seizures ultimately leading to brain damage, dementia and death. Tragically she passed away 1 week before her move-in date...

Although the process of losing both parents so close together is overwhelmingly heartbreaking, we are so grateful we followed the Universe's signs and were able to be by their side and provide the very best care possible for both of them during their final years. Although still recovering emotionally, we are now able to complete the work on Mom's cottage and have named it after the both of them. Welcome to the Shaw Shack (affectionately known as "The Shaw Shack Redemption Cottage").
