The PERFECT stay

This property exceeded every expectation. The location is AMAZING and we walked right down to the resort for the Christmas parade and festivities even with little kids. The house itself catered to all my kids’ ages (1-16) with toys, games, shows, and then sleeping arrangements for all. We loved the hot tub, and in summer months will totally stay again and utilize the patio and outdoor area. We LOVED this property and will absolutely be back again.

Beautiful family friendly house

Beautiful home in a great location! Perfect for my 5 and 8 year old. They loved the bunk beds and that there were toys there. Looking forward to coming back!

Great Property....Great Location!

What a fabulous location and property, great beds, bathrooms, kitchen, etc....close to downtown (5 min walk), the river walk, and other amenities/trails. Safe, friendly neighborhood...we would stay there again tomorrow.

Home Base

The Forest Chateau was a fantastic choice for our stay in the area. Perfect for two couples and 5 children. First class amenities and the house boasted a great location. We enjoyed the hot tub and amazing back deck.

Clean walkable kid-friendly home

We liked our stay. Home was clean and check-in was easy with door code & wifi password provided online. It was walkable to the lake, park, and restaurants. It was kid-friendly with bunkbeds, Pack n’ Play, multiple toys, stair gate, high chair.

Family Holiday

Loved the house! Great home base to explore Coeur d'Alene. Very nice and comfortable home with space for everyone. We loved being able to walk downtown and to restaurants. Highly recommend.

Perfect place walking distance to downtown

Home has a great outdoor space to play yard games, card games on the awesome patio furniture, grill out, and hot tub. Inside is exactly as advertised. Clean, comfy beds, adequate kitchen supplies. Would not hesitate booking this place again in the future.

Great house in excellent location!

The house was great! It was well stocked with essentials and had everything anyone would need for their stay…. The best part was that it was a 10 min walk North or South to get to amazing restaurants and shops. Property company was very quick to respond and offer suggestions to questions we had too. This helped us have an amazing time, would book again if in the area!

Wonderful

We had such a great time and would definitely rent again! The location was perfect. The house was in pristine condition and I loved the decor. It was a great anniversary trip for my husband and I but we would love to bring our children next time as the bunk room upstairs was adorable!

Great Property

House was very nice and comfirtable and close to the lake. My only conplaint was the hot tub was not clean and usable which was one of the main reasons I rented this house so that was disappointing, but everything else about the home was top notch.

Family vacation

Child friendly home (toys, many beds, baby stuff) walking distance to downtown, restaurants and lake. Steep Staircase can be blocked with gate. We’ll be back.

Great location and staff

This house was beautiful and just a short walk to the lake and shopping. The management company is great and very responsive. The first night of my stay I ran out of propane and they arrived no more than ten minutes later with a new tank. This is unheard of!

Comfortable stay

Super clean and very accommodating. A lot of amenities and baby / kids stuff that we weren't expecting. That was a nice surprise. The hot tub was nice but I think the water needs cleaning, it was a little smelly. Other than that we were comfortable and would definitely stay here again.

Great house and a great location

Best company we have dealt with. Good communication and the check out rules were the best. Other places charge a cleaning fee and then expect you to do the cleanup for them. All that was asked was to pick up after ourselves. Highly recommend

We had a great stay at this little house. It was beautifully decorated and modern. Everything was great about it. Except the master bedroom does get really cold at night. Wish there was a little heater. Also the two top stones are really loose. Almost tripped over them. Other then those 2 thing’s everything else was absolutely amazing! Thank you.

Lovely stay!

This property is in an EXCELLENT location. You are a quick walk to the lake, hiking trails, coffee/food/bars - really anything you'd need! We were there with a group of 6 adults for a bachelorette party, but this property is also a great candidate for families. I have a small child and couldn't help but notice the features that would've accommodated my family (e.g., stools, baby gates, children's utensils). The photos of the property are beautiful, but truly do not do the space justice. It is well kept, clean, and open. We kept commenting on the quality of the furniture and bedding too. The property owner was so quick to message and provide detailed, tailored recommendations.

Mother/daughter girl's weekend

This house was beautiful and conveniently located for easy walking to downtown. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. There were 5 of us staying there and we had plenty of room. If we had more guests with us, I'm not sure the living room furniture would have accommodated us. That was the only thing lacking was lots of comfortable sitting space in the living room. I would suggest some kind of sectional. Overall fantastic house and we had a great weekend!

Great house!

Great house! We really enjoyed our stay. There were 9 of us total. The house was beautiful, well-equipped, and only about a block from downtown. The tall patio table had a fire feature which was perfect for the cool evenings. Hot tub was nice too. Loved it!

Clean, Comfortable home walking distance to town.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and will stay again. This well appointed home was clean, comfortable and layed out well. The deck was set up nicely with comfortable furniture and a firetable. In addition the location was super close to downtown allowing a short walk to numerous restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and lake access.
