Ellen and Ronald are happy to welcome you “à la Belle Etoile” in Saint Bonnet le Château, in a mid-mountain area, in the heart of the Rhône Alpes Auvergne region. The campsite with 54 pitches over 2 hectares, is equipped with a heated swimming pool, tennis court, playground, 200 m from a lake for fishing. With its rentals of mobile homes for the week or for a weekend, its pitches, the campsite is a place where families spend a wonderful holiday. Cultural visits, hikes, all activities, and shops are nearby. A varied entertainment program from June to September (theme evening, retro, concert, karaoke) at the campsite's Guinguette. For the more sporty among you, an adventure park, an equestrian center, introduction to archery, orienteering or geocaching courses are possible nearby. The region can also be explored thanks to the Haut Forez tourist train.

To discover the land of Saint Bonnet le Château, take the Balcons du Forez tourist route and take the time to stroll through the picturesque streets of the three “villages of character in the Loire” of Marols, Montarcher or Saint-Bonnet-le-Château with its majestic Gothic collegiate church from the 15th century, passing through Rozier-Côtes-d'Aurec, a Cluniac site perched above the Loire Gorges.
Two museums, labeled “Musée de France”, will also allow you to explore more recent history, that of the 19th and 20th centuries. The History Museum of the 20th century - Resistance and Deportation, will immerse you in the adventure of the previous century and the Liberation battles of August 1944, while the ecomuseum of the Monts du Forez will reveal to you the traditions and know-how of the Haut-Forez plateau. The “Carré Pétanque by Obut” will complete the page of today's know-how, by visiting this complex created around the Boule de Pétanque.
Finally, don't leave without visiting the Moulin de Vignal in Apinac, young and old will discover the ancestral gestures of the miller in a working mill.
