There is also a small beach cove on the bay for a quick dip or kayaking. Located near the huge pool, kiddie pool, fitness center, tennis courts, tot lot/playground, basketball, volleyball and boat launch- all amenities included at no extra cost and plenty of parking in front of unit.

Bayville Shores is a private, well-manicured residential community, located bayside on the Little Assawoman Bay. Reach the Atlantic less than 3 miles down Lighthouse Rd, with Thunder Lagoon Water Park, Viking Golf & Go Karts, shopping and restaurants near the beach. *Enjoy the benefit of TAX-FREE shopping in Delaware!* Just up Coastal Hwy is plenty of parking at Fenwick Island State Park, at $5/day for in-state residents and $10/day for out-of-state residents. If you are up for more nightlife with a plethora of restaurants, head to Ocean City, MD just minutes away from Fenwick Island.

Both Food Lion and Harris Teeter are located about a mile from the property, for fresh groceries and necessities.

If you are a golf lover, there are more than 10 golf courses nearby including a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course in the Bayside community, the Carl M. Freeman Golf Club at Bear Trap Dunes, and Ocean City’s riverfront course ‘River Run Golf Club’ designed by golf legend Gary Player.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY:
Enter this 3-level townhome through the extra large garage, set up for crab eating, grilling, and a full refrigerator for storing your beverages or extra food. You will have access to all the pool and beach toys you need, including chairs, umbrellas and a beach cart. Downstairs you will find a full ensuite with queen-sized bed, walk-in closet, full bath with tub, and screened porch with an additional pull-out sofa overlooking the pond.

On the 2nd level there is a half-bath and gorgeous open-floor plan with dining table for 7, 5 bar stools at the large kitchen counter, and cozy outdoor seating in the screened porch for afternoon wine or late-night gaming.

Upstairs is the master bedroom, flooded with natural light.... enjoy your morning coffee on the bright balcony overlooking the pond, watching the turtles, ducks, egrets, and blue herons. The master has a king bed, large walk-in closet and master bath with double sinks, shower and jacuzzi tub. Rounding out the upstairs is another queen bedroom, a hall bath (shower) and kid’s room with 2 sets of twin bunks. A pack and play and toddler cot is included for the youngsters.

We had a great time again this year. There are so many amenities at Bayville Shores and it is close to shopping, restaurants and day trips to Ocean City, etc. The townhouse is very clean and well appointed and the owners are very helpful. We would definitely recommend Serenity On The Bay!

Wonderful home in a beautiful neighborhood with many amenities

I recently had the privilege of staying at a magnificent townhouse near Fenwick Island, DE, and I am thrilled to share my delightful experience with other potential visitors. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this townhouse was more than a rental property—it felt like a home away from home. Each room was immaculately presented, offering all the comforts and conveniences one could hope for on a vacation, coupled with an incredibly inviting and cozy atmosphere. The location itself was idyllic. Nestled near Fenwick Island, it gave easy access to the picturesque bayside beach, providing an exquisite backdrop for morning strolls and sunset vistas. However, what truly elevated the experience was the extraordinary range of amenities provided. A standout feature was the community pool. Impeccably maintained, it was the perfect place to cool down and relax after a day of exploring the local area. In addition, the nearby playground made it an excellent choice for families, providing a safe and fun environment for children to play and make memories. One of the most commendable aspects of this townhouse was the attention to detail. The host had clearly thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable and hassle-free. There were bikes available for guests, allowing for adventurous rides around the beautiful locale. Even more delightful was the range of inflatable beach and pool floats, toys, and other essential items, all of which were in excellent condition.

Best Vacation Home Ever!

My family has been spending summers in Delaware and Maryland beaches for the last nine years. As our family has grown over the years, we needed to upgrade to bigger rentals. Serenity on the Bay lives up to its name in every way possible! David and Lauren provided a very clean, comfortable beach house with a emphasize on relaxation and convenience. The location is a quick drive on Rt 54 to the Maryland and Delaware side of Fenwick beaches and yet tucked away in a quiet community on the bay side. It was a real treat to enjoy the panoramic view of the small lake and wildlife from the comfort of the enclosed decks. We also took advantage of the community pool on a day where the surf was so rough it was not safe for the children. The place is well-stocked with everything as advertised (including towels!). My husband (who has a bad hip) and I utilized the bedroom suite on the first level which worked out perfectly because it is on the same level as the garage - we could roll our luggage through the garage door, down the hallway and into the bedroom suite (which had its own enclosed patio with a panoramic view of the lake and wildlife). The kids and grandkids stayed on the third floor, which provided plenty of room and privacy for all! The second-floor was the gathering place for the family to eat, play the games provided, watch TV with the surround-sound speakers and plan our day on the quiet deck observing the panoramic view of the lake with its osprey, white egrets, blue herons, ducks and geese. We even observed people fishing and catching fish. David and Lauren were very responsive when we had questions and it is very apparent that they have put a lot of love and care into their vacation home. They provided so many creature comforts too numerous to list, but very much appreciated. We are thankful that David and Lauren decided to share their lovely vacation home, it was a real treat and we will be back!

Serenity on the Bay is a lovely, well-maintained property. The pool, tennis courts, bike/walking trails and bay beach are all a short walk away and the community is close to shopping and only a short drive to the ocean. We hope to stay here next year; it's a great place!

Lovely quiet stay near the beach

My family and I loved our week at Serenity on the Bay. The townhouse was clean and spacious, more than enough space for our group of 9. The neighborhood was peaceful and in a great location. We could easily drive north to Bethany or Rehoboth, or south to Ocean City. This home had everything we needed for cooking, grilling, and going to the beach. Serenity on the Bay was a great vacation home!

Another awesome family trip!

We had a great time! The property is clean, well decorated and in a convenient location. We had plenty of space for our entire family (grandparents, kids and aunt & uncle). The home was well equipped with everything you could need (beach towels, beach toys, pool floats, etc) We especially appreciated the small touches (welcome letter & reminders on the fridge). The beach was a short ride and the amenities on site were great! The property managers were friendly and easy to communicate with :)

Beautiful Home with Amazing View and Great Amenities at Perfect Location

This house is so beautiful and super clean. Perfect place for a getaway with the family during this pandemic. It has great amenities (pool, tennis court, basketball court, gym and playground) and extra touches (towels, beach/pool toys, bikes) by Dave and Lauren. The pool is super clean and not crowded. We love sitting at the porch and enjoyed the sunset everyday. The house is at a perfect location, close to Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island, Ocean City and Assateague Island National Park and close to various restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, etc. Dave and Lauren are amazing and provide all the information ahead of time making our check-in and check-out processes so easy to follow. We would definitely come back and stay here again and have been recommending this house to our friends and family.

Relaxing on the Bay

Serenity on the Bay was everything it was promised to be - a beautiful townhome with many amenities, relaxing porches on each level, and close and easy access to a community pool, fitness center, tennis courts, and multiple beaches. Great get away to the beach!

The house is absolutely beautifully decorated and maintained. New appliances and lots of amenities, many not listed. We went kayaking, swimming in the pool, kids played basketball and tennis everyday. We brought two bikes for our four kids to share, pleasantly surprised there were some bikes available at the house for them to use. Thank you Lauren and Dave for allowing us to rent your property for a great week away.

Beautiful quiet community!

What a beautiful getaway! The house was gorgeous, we loved the sun rooms and balcony. Very spacious and plenty of room for the 7 of us. minutes. It was Definitely like being home away from home. Owners were very easy to communicate with and willing to help with whatever we needed. Harris teeters is place to shop at. Lots of great restaurants, crabcake factory has the best crabcakes around (personally speaking). Fenwick island park beach was awesome!! Not over crowded at all, you can easily social distance there. The amount of things to do is infinite... ocean city 10-15 mins, bethany 5-10 mins., and of course Fenwick has plenty to offer. I HIGHLY recommend Dave and Lauren and their beautiful "Serenity on the Bay" for your next vacation home.

Awesome, relaxing vacation! Highly recommend.

Wonderful, relaxing, fun vacation. Activities from swimming, fishing, kayaking, going to the beach (short drive away), biking, tennis, volleyball, corn hole, playground, and visiting the local light house. Shared pool was very nice. Traffic does back up on the main route but traffic is at any prime vacation destination. Rental was clean and beautifully decorated. Owners are prompt. Grocery store located very close for convenience.

We always wanted to have a place to bring family and have a peaceful getaway, away from busy life. We fell in love with the location being so close to the beaches and the action, but in a tranquil and secluded setting by the bay. The community is wonderful and welcoming. We made renovations in spring 2021 that really made it feel like home, with a coastal flair!
We love coming here to make memories and hope you will too!
