It is a spectacular beachfront upper level of a triplex in Carlsbad. Enjoy surf and sun 30 minutes north of downtown San Diego and just minutes from Legoland in Carlsbad. This three-bedroom, three-bath home has a full kitchen, a bathroom, and a living room area. The west window view makes you feel like you are on top of the ocean. Come and enjoy a relaxing beach getaway walking distance to wonderful restaurants and shops.

Amazing location
The location can't be beat, but the home could definitely use some updating. There is not much available in terms of comfortable balcony seating. I would recommend bringing your own chairs. The glass on the balcony was so dirty I could not enjoy the beautiful view. My boyfriend and I cleaned it ourselves and that made a big difference. The beds are very comfortable.

Our stay
Honestly great location. Close to shops and right on the beach. There should be a comment informing people from out of town that this is a pebble beach. We were looking more for a sandy beach. The place is spacious and has a lot of great amenities. Some improvements could be made in their cleaning but overall a great stay.

Beach Location Is Beautiful
We stayed for a week, and visited the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Balboa Park museums, etc. The Carlsbad location is very convenient for these. The unit was very quiet, with the sounds of the surf a pleasant background. The deck is very spacious, and has a wonderful sunset view over the ocean. We were quite pleased with our stay.

Relaxing beachside trip
I booked this property when I found out a friend was coming out for a visit. I live only 20 miles away so staying here gave me a vacation, too. Our 5 day stay was perfect. We enjoyed the sunsets from the large deck, could hear the rhythm of the ocean waves all night and woke up to pastel skies in the mornings. The house is spacious and well appointed. Even so, we ate out for most meals because there are countless wonderful options nearby. I’ll reserve this property again in the future.

We had an amazing time here. The location and view make this place very special. A quick 8 minute walk to the shops in Carlsbad was very convenient. The view is amazing! You can hear the waves 24 hours a day, so peaceful. We would love to return.

A great spot that worked for us!
This might not work for you if you are looking for high end decorating and furnishings and finishes. I recommend it if you are looking for a great view right off your deck, a spacious living space with a well-stocked kitchen, a great location on the beach with wonderful restaurants and shops within walking distance. It was perfect for us!

The neighborhood and view off the deck are amazing, but the house really needs updating. The locks are all old and hard to work. The shag carpet and sparse furniture make it a little uncomfortable. There was a bottom area on the ocean side that had all kinds of debris just lying around. There was a pop up shade that was all torn up. This was very unsightly for such a beautiful place. The kitchen was well stocked and that was a nice surprise. All in all we had a nice time but this home just really needs an update.

Amazing ocean view!
This property has an amazing 180 degree unobstructed ocean view with a very large terrace. The management company was easy to work with and responsive to our concerns. There is a lovely French bakery and cafe 3 blocks away. A few minor issues: the WiFi was wonky and dropped out frequently. The furnishings and decor, while comfortable, are quite dated (the big screen TV worked fine). The kitchen is under-stocked; if you’re planning to cook, bring what you need - things like cooking oil and measuring cups. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay.

Can't beat the location!
This gem is located right on the ocean front and it is an easy walk down to the beach. Don't want to get sand in your toes? You can open up one or all of the ample windows or sit on the large deck and take in the sights and smell the ocean air. Home was clean and well stocked (they even had boogie boards and beach toys!) and everything was in good working order. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out. Convenient and walkable to Carlsbad Village for meals and entertainment - but honestly we didn't want to leave the house at all.

Amazing location
Right on the beach! Dated home but nice and well stocked. Not sure if this was ok but we used the beach stuff on the sandy area at the shore: umbrellas, boogie boards, chairs, bbq. WiFi never worked though. We put in a note to the management but it didn’t get fixed while we were there.

Quiet and on the beach
Location, location, location… very comfortable place right on the beach! The interior is a bit dated (70s Brady Bunch) but it was a great place for our family to stay! You can’t beat the price for this location in CBV.

Better than expected!!
The pics online don’t do this place justice. The house and deck are much bigger then I expected. The living room has sliding doors that allow the amazing sounds and ocean breeze to come through. Fully equipped kitchen, and comfy beds too. The master bedroom has amazing view of the ocean and I loved sleeping to the sounds of the waves. I definitely plan on returning. Beach House
This house sits on the beach. We loved the smell of the ocean and falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing. The living room and dining room were perfect for our family. The balcony is peaceful 24 hours a day.

Perfect!!!
We wanted a beach getaway for our family of 5. This was perfect for what we we’re looking for! We went to the beach everyday, the zoo and museums were an hour away! I gave it a four star ONLY because I wished they had beach chairs and umbrella. Since we were traveling from far away, we didn’t think to pack stuff for the beach. I guess that’s what sunscreen is for. Again great place, perfect location. Very lovely and cozy home!! I would definitely come back.
