Charming beach cottage
My family spent a glorious week at this property and would highly recommend it. It is precisely as pictured and described: very homey, clean and with outstanding views. We loved staying at this adorable cottage so much. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax by the shore. Having breakfast and lunch on the front porch and enjoying the view was just gorgeous. We also enjoyed sitting there in the evenings and listening to the sound of the ocean. My seven-year-old son especially loved swimming in the water and playing on the beach as well as collecting sea glass. Back home it is the perfect decoration on the table in our back yard. I really liked running along the beach road in the mornings or going for a walk there in the early
evenings.
The cottage was also a fantastic place to go on some short trips.We went on a cruise to the Thimble Islands, which was just amazing and we visited New Haven and Mystic, either one of them being quaint and picturesque towns. The outlet malls of Clinton and Westbrook were a fun way to spend one rainy day. Unfortunately we were not able to check out the trolley museum because the week was all too short. We would really have loved to stay longer!!!
Lanna was extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming while also unobtrusive. She provides her guests with everything which is needed for an enjoyable time at the beach (beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, rafts, sand toys, a ball) and her advice on what to do in the area is really helpful.
We had such a great time here. Thank you again for everything, Lanna!!!
