Best Stay Ever

Eagles Roost stay 3/16-18, 2025

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a very nice place. I was little disappointed in the view or lack of. I assumed from the website pictures showing the double decks that it was Mountain View. It turned out to be a ravine and looking at another large white rental property I think. Next time I will call to get more details. We wee delayed on our check in time for “cleaning “ her when we get there our groceries stuck to table in spilled drink that was sticky and in floor. Also garbage can had dirty lid so when he changed the bag he didn’t even clean lid. Inside is very nice and loved the game area. I had to rinse out jacuzzi as it had hairs in it. Cleaner was left on side of tub. Only one roll of toilet paper in bathroom. I don’t expect perfection in cleaning just since Covid things should be important as many people use the cabins. Overall we had a great time. Bed comfortable. Maybe look a blinds/curtains on jacuzzi window and French doors out to deck. Lots of early morning light and a little more privacy feel. Timer on fireplace does not work. It runs until you turn it to off position.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well when you only have a 3 day 2 night stay we have a plan. That plan was disrupted early Sunday when we received a text the rental wouldn’t be ready to check in at 3:00. It would be “approximately” 5:00. So after stopping at the Outlet mall to kill time we finally after a few pointed text got our door code about 4:30. The cabin was nice, a little far out for us and the outside needs a good cleaning. Inside of the cabin was in very good shape.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was really nice. Cabin was located just off the main road but was secluded and we didn’t hear traffic. The cabin had wonderful amenities- we enjoyed the jacuzzi more than the hot tub but that’s because I have an artificial leg. The hot tub has a step to get into it- which wasn’t that hard to get in but getting out was a bit tricky as I couldn’t get a good grip to get out. The staircase to get downstairs was narrow and slick- so we didn’t go downstairs- main bed, kitchen, fireplace, living area, jacuzzi and hot tub all on the main floor with 2 steps to get up and into the front door (be careful there is a lip on the top step). All around wonderful stay. Only dvd player is located downstairs- but found the tv to be enough when we were there.

The Best Stay on Our 2000 Mile Road Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I were taking a road trip through TN and I found this cabin through a Google search. You never know how that's going to turn out, lol. Anyway, it was storming like crazy both days. I ordered a mobile massage that came to the cabin. We had 2 hour massages while it was thundering and raining. It was the absolute best! The jacuzzi tub inside was so relaxing. We didn't use the hot tub outside or the firepit downstairs because it wasn't really cool enough in July. We did play table tennis and billiards downstairs and laughed more than we have in a long time. It's secluded enough you can run around naked and nobody can see you! It was an awesome romantic getaway and the highlight of our trip. It was clean, had everything we needed except coffee - there is not a Keurig so bring ground coffee but there is a dollar general not far from there. The management company over communicates if anything, you get a dozen emails and texts through the process making sure you are informed. We went to a local steak house, but I can't remember the name of it. It was okay. The cabin was the highlight for sure.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice little place nestled just off the East Pkwy just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg.Quiet location. Only two other cabins nearby. Open floor plan, bed/living room/kitchen all in one room. Pictures doesn’t really show that. King bed was comfy, jacuzzi and electric waterfall was a nice added feature. Hot tub on main deck could use some maintenance. The jets were very weak and a couple of them didn’t work. Gas fireplace in the main room didn’t work either. Not a big deal with the warm weather but would be nice on chilly nights if it worked. Water pressure in the shower was minimal. Small pool table and ping pong on lower level. Propane fire pit on the lower deck as well. Swing was covered in spiderwebs and looked like it hadn’t been used in years. Swing was also mounted too close to the rail and you can’t really swing without hitting the rail. Cabin is a little outdated and could use some maintenance but overall satisfactory.

Super Cute and Fun!

We were going to just get a hotel but when we came across this and it was perfect! It’s nice having smaller cabins when you don’t have a large group! They had lots of things to do, including a pool table, ping pong, and a outdoor hot tub and an indoor jacuzzi! The only down side is that it has a Gatlinburg address but it’s about an hour from Gatlenburg and Pigeon Forge.
