Folly ist ein lässiger Resortstrand mit einem erstklassigen Angelsteg und kilometerlangen wunderschönen Stränden, die sich perfekt zum Sonnen, Muscheln und Planschen im Wasser eignen. Die Center Street in der Innenstadt ist malerisch, fußgängerfreundlich und bietet eine Vielzahl von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants.

Unser komfortabel eingerichtetes Haus bietet einen offenen Grundriss, schöne Antiquitäten, Holzböden, geflieste Küche und Bäder sowie einen herrlichen Meerblick. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und mit Licht aus beiden Fenstern und einem Dachfenster gefüllt. Der Esstisch bietet Platz für 8 Personen mit 4 Barhockern in der Nähe und zusätzliche Sitzgelegenheiten an einem Picknicktisch auf der abgeschirmten Veranda am Strand. Die abgeschirmte Veranda öffnet sich zu einem begehbaren Balkon mit Zugang zum Privatstrand.

Das große Wohnzimmer mit Queensize-Schlafsofa, Gewölbedecke und Unterhaltungszentrum mit WLAN / Kabel ist ideal für Familienfeiern.

Best Vacation!

From the day we rented the house I knew this was going to be a crazy great vacation experience! Our hosts were amazing - GREAT communication. The home was spotless. We had such great relaxation time in this perfect beach house - just like the ones I visited as a kid - with many updates! We loved having a short walk back to the house from the beach! One of my top favorite trips - we are already planning our return!

Best time ever!

We all enjoyed our time at Folly and being in the most perfect beach house! The weather was perfect - just a little rain! We loved soaking up the sun on the deck and on the beach. We will be back for the most spectacular views and the comfortable house. Loved it!

Idyllic

We stayed for 8 amazing days and wished we never had to leave. We had 3 friends with us for the first couple of days and then just my husband and myself. The house was perfect for all of us. The outside showers were a great bonus, helping keeping the sand and heat out of the house. The kitchen and linens were all well stocked and we really wanted for nothing during our stay. Hosts are so charming and welcoming.

Perfect Beach House!

Our second summer staying here and we plan to keep on coming back! Absolute perfect location on the beach and the home is fully stocked with anything we could possibly need. The owners are the most delightful, kind and accommodating folks and we so truly enjoy seeing them and getting to chat for a while when we check in. Just an overall wonderful experience all around. Great Beach House Getaway!

Perfect house for a beach holiday! Plenty of room for our 4 adults and 2 young children, with fully equipped kitchen, high capacity washer/dryer to keep up with beach towels and swimsuits, plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and toys! Private beach access and close to FB shops/restaurants, but far enough away to be nice and quiet at night!!

Family Time

Eleanor’s property was AMAZING! The property is very well thought out with the right amenities. Parking was plentiful and easy to navigate. This was one of the easiest homes to check-in / checkout. Eleanor was extremely communicative and prompt with all correspondences. Overall, this home is very cozy and full of charm. It’s the quintessential beach home. Tons of windows with natural light. Direct access to the beach was wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again!

Loved this property

We have been renting on Folly for 7 years and we have finally found the perfect place. This house was really a home...full of sweet antique furniture, cozy couches and an updated kitchen. Eleanor was quick to answer questions and was in communication during our visit. We had two families of 3 and it never felt crowded. We were on a quiet part of the island and rented a golf cart for easy access to town. The kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms were comfortable, and the outdoor spaces were the best. We used the screened in porch for when it was too hot, a mid deck space for when it was too windy on the beach, and easy access to the ocean our the walkway and over a small dune. We loved it! Thank you!

We Love Folly Beach

This was our third family trip to Folly Beach. Previously, we stayed in condos. This ocean cottage was our favorite. We loved the location, privacy, and the ocean right out the back door! Cottage was lovely and Eleanor was super attentive. Cottage had everything we needed! Only one suggestion: to consider—updating living room sofas and single bed a bit small. Fantastic property! We hope to return. Thank you!!!!

Expected better .

The location was nice and views of the beach were awesome . On the other hand , the house is very outdated and is in need of renovations. Also the bedrooms could use televisions. It’s not a place that we would recommend to our friends. The kitchen table is crazy old and chairs not very sturdy . The place could be really something special with not a whole lot of money put into it . We expected nicer .

Beach lovers

Although the three of us live on an is!and in Georgia, we enjoy a get away to other beaches! Folly is perfect since only about 3 hour drive for us. The house was the perfect accommodation for my husband, sister in law and me. Kitchen was well equipped and location spectacular. We only left the house three times in five days. The screen porch with ocean view and breeze was perfect for reading, playing games and and visiting.

What a wonderful experience! The home was incredibly clean and very well stocked/furnished, the location on the beach is perfect and Eleanor and her husband (owners) were so very kind and accommodating and simply a delight to meet. Mother's Day Week

Very accommodating oceanfront home. Neat & Clean. Kitchen was stocked with all dishes, pots & pans if one plans to cook. Fresh & clean bed linens and towels. Weather was a little on the cool side but the stay was most enjoyable. Screened porch is very inviting.

Wonderful Folly Beach Stay

Great house for family with kids or couples. Quiet end of the beach. Well supplied and the deck, beach chairs, and outside showers very appreciated. Don't be surprised, there is an apartment attached to the back, does not block the view, belongs to the owners who were not there when we visited

Loved the house. Great location. There were just 3 of us. My husband, 15yr old, and myself. Only used the king and queen beds. They were amazingly comfortable, nothing worse than a bad bed on vacation. We had everything we needed (linens, kitchen supplies, beach gear, etc.). Communication was a breeze. Every was so easy which is exactly what we needed.

We are second-generation property owners who love Folly Beach and have been regulars here since the 1950s. The welcoming, longtime owners maintain an adjoining, private apartment with separate entrance on the property but are not full-time, onsite residents.
