## Space
This apartment is ideally located in the heart of the city, near Place Bellecour, the largest square in Lyon. It’s right in the center of the Presqu'île, and everything you need is within walking distance—shops, typical Lyonnais restaurants on Rue Mercière and the Quais de Saône, where it's nice to have a drink at sunset, bars, bakeries, and cafes.
The keys can be picked up from the store (located 16 minutes on foot from the apartment).
Nearby, you'll find the Lyon Célestins Theatre, Place Bellecour, the Fontaine des Jacobins, the Museum of Printing and Graphic Communication, the Saint-Nizier Church, the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, and the quays of the Rhône with bars on boats.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with an elevator, and then a few steps up.
The apartment boasts a beautiful view of the rooftops of Lyon, overlooking an interior courtyard, so you won’t be disturbed by the noise of the city or traffic. The windows are equipped with blinds and blackout curtains for your late mornings.
The apartment accommodates 4 people with a double bed and a sofa bed.
The apartment includes the following amenities:
A living area with a small sofa, a three-seat sofa that converts into a double bed, and a dining table

## Neighborhood
Lyon is famous for its restaurants: the famous Lyonnais "bouchons" and many Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurants. You will also find numerous boats on the Rhône offering interesting menus where you can dine in a pleasant setting.
In the city center, with its typical Lyonnais buildings, you’ll find the large Place des Jacobins, the famous Place Bellecour, and my favorite spot in the summer, the Quais de Saône, which are lovely when it’s warm in the evening, with views of the medieval district of Old Lyon and the Basilica of Fourvière.
Some of my favorite addresses:
Delicious bakeries/desserts:
Le Pain des Jacobins, delicious and just next door
Boulangerie du Palais, known for its praline desserts
Pralus: the famous praline brioche, highly recommended!
Typical restaurants and bars:
La Brasserie Georges: A true institution, known for its sauerkraut and craft beers
Le Café du Rhône: Traditional local cuisine, with a beautiful setting
La Madone: A bar with appetizers and a pleasant terrace; DJ performances and football match broadcasts
Abel: To taste the famous Lyonnais Quenelle, it’s recommended to book in advance
L'Ourson qui Boit: Excellent restaurant (reservation needed)
Les Muses de l'Opéra: For drinks at the top of the Opera House, with a stunning view of Lyon
La Cuisine: Traditional cuisine and bar
La Cave des Voyageurs (Old Lyon district): Wine tasting, small producers, great appetizers
The boats along the quays of the Rhône, with their terraces for a drink
