The lovely setting is waiting to welcome your group to a large kitchen/dining area with a table that seats 8, a breakfast nook and a coffee bar. The main floor also consists of 2 sitting rooms, three bedrooms with queen beds and a full bathroom with a tub/shower. The lower level has a recreational area, sectional sofa, a full size sofa bed and a full bathroom. Enjoy the patio that includes a fire ring and available gas grill for summer cookouts or the enclosed gazebo with a fireplace for all weather socializing.
Town's Edge Dairy which sells raw dairy products and more is within walking distance.
We are conveniently located near places of worship, the turnpike entrance, Route 322 and Route 222.

Quiet neighborhood

We appreciated having a laundry along with soap and wastecan bags provided. The provided coffee was great. I think the best part was seeing the horse and wagons!!! The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. We would rent this again!

Very Cozy and Family-Oriented, Would Stay Again!

We had a very pleasant stay at this home! The 3 beds, 2 baths fit our group of five adults very comfortably and was thoughtfully set up with plenty of little comforts (Kleenex, spare towels, K-cups, kitchen spices, etc). The kitchen was adequately supplied with various tools that allowed us to make a few meals together as a family, and the pool table provided an evening of fun too. The driveway had plenty of room for our two large vehicles, and the stairs to enter the property had solar lights to help with nighttime entry. While we didn't have any children, there was a nice crib, pack & play, and a small selection of children's toys that would be very handy for families with small children. I think the wifi hadn't been enabled, since none of us could access it but there were clear instructions on the network and password for us to use. (We didn't reach out to the hosts since the lack of access meant we spent more time together as a family.) The location was fantastic--we were within 10-30 minutes of all the events and attractions we attended for the weekend (Sight & Sound, Biblical Tabernacle Experience, downtown Lancaster, mini golf, hiking trails, Sturgis Pretzel Bakery). Having the small-town general store and dairy store within walking distance also meant we could easily swing by for treats and groceries. If we ever return to Lancaster, we would love to stay again!

Hidden gem

This was a beautiful property! Hosts are very generous in providing you with a firepit with plenty of wood, grill, pool table and bonus outside space with a fireplace! Not to mention their home in general is a very spacious, inviting and cozy space with all the amenities you need, especially when traveling with a baby. I will definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing Homey Stay

Love love this property. Everything was great, completely set up for us as a family. Supplied with all your needs. Everything was labeled so we didn’t have to worry or search about for anything. Centrally located to everything including beautiful scenery.

This home was immaculate. There is absolutely nothing you could want or need that isn’t supplied by the hosts. It is centrally located and very easy to get to other locations in a very short period to time. Will certainly look to utilize this home again when back in the area.

Great Place

We did some sightseeing in the area and was a great place to come back to. Relaxing and quiet area, it was like a place back in time. Traffic was horse and buggy and a nice country store just down the road.

Amish country

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting. The house was close to everything that we had decided to visit. The house was comfortable with everything at your fingertips. There are 2 bathrooms which is great when traveling with more family. Also plenty of bedrooms to chose from. We enjoyed ourselves so much. A big thank you to our hosts.

Family Getaway

We had a beautiful stay! The Zimmerman's are very pleasant and take much care of their guests to ensure the time there is comfortable. The town is small so you can walk to the local dairy farm for fresh milk or to the general store for other needs. The best part is the larger cities nearby so you had the best of both worlds. We will definitely be returning. It's been our most favorite place to stay as a family so far. Thank you Melvin & Jane!

PA Get-Away

This property was well maintained and very clean upon our arrival. There was a house next door to this property which we assumed was the home of the property owners, so if that was true, they would be able to immediately respond to any concerns / requests we would have made. Everything that we needed (linens, dishes / dish washing liquid, soap, paper towels, cooking pans/utensils etc) was provided. The listing says the house sleeps 8. There are 3 bedrooms, each with one bed and one bedroom also has a crib. The beds are not large (king size) so it would be more accurate for the listing to say it sleeps 5-6 comfortably. There is a nice rec room downstairs with a pool table and a 2nd full bathroom. The owners also have toys at the property which our 4 year old enjoyed playing with. This house sits on a busy street so you will hear traffic (cars and buggies) off and on but overall we enjoyed our stay here and would select it again if we are ever out in PA Amish country again!

Lovely Stay

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. The check-in process was simple. Everything was in order when we arrived. The house was lovely and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. There was plenty of room and everything was neat and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals during our stay. The off-street parking and large driveway was definitely a plus. It was very quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed both the front porch and the backyard area in the evenings. The hosts responded very quickly when we reached out with questions. We would book this property again if we are ever in the area.

Weekend Wedding Stay

The house worked out great for us. 3 nice bedrooms for 3 couples. 2 full baths kept everyone moving and to the church on time. The Gazebo provided a really cool place to sit and chat. And the Pool table provided a fun evening. Very clean and a nice layout, conveniently located to lots of attractions.
