Wondeful view

The area was quiet and indian rocks beach is one of the best beaches in the area! Diane was very easy to communicate with and definitely recommend this place. Also you may even see dolphins and stingrays from the dock!

Relax Station!

What a wonderful home and location. The home is so cozy and the views are amazing. We walked to the beach a few times. We had an Osprey that hung around on the flag pole for a few days. Saw dolphins and manatees almost every day we were there. The home is nicely updated and has a cozy beachy vibe. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. Diane was very responsive throughout the whole process. Thank you again for opening your home to us.

Perfect house for vacation

I can honestly say the listing for this property does not do it justice. This house is much nicer in person than the pictures and descriptions can ever describe. Everything about this property offered the comforts of home plus more. The walk to the beach only took 2 and half songs (listening to music on my walk to the beach). Although not mentioned, one of the best features of this home was the shower. The water pressure and heat was something to be desired,. We would mist definitely stay here again on our next trip to Indian Rocks Beach.

Perfection

I can’t express how much we loved this property and this owner! The house, location, and communication with Diane was outstanding. Anytime we needed Diane she was super fast at responding to us. We spent 75% of our time on the beautiful composite dock watching the dolphins, stingrays, fish, and birds. We didn’t have to leave the house if we didn’t want to. The house we very clean and came with beach chairs and beach towels so we didn’t have to bring that from home. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. Bedrooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable. It’s also located next to a park and the Nature Preserve. Trust me you want to stay here! 10 out of 10!!

Great location, great host!

Staying at a house on the intercostal waterway with a very nice dock was a treat...and only an 8-minute walk to a beautiful beach on the Gulf! Diane was attentive to all our questions and requests. We quite enjoyed our stay!

I've been around this area for decades, sometimes full-time but, for the past many years, part-time. I've been a "Super Host" for many years on a competing site and believe that customer service is key, both as a traveler and a host. Currently I spend part of my time at Indian Rocks Beach ("IRB" to locals) and part in the Netherlands. (Ik spreek ook Nederlands!) I have local on-demand assistance for this property and many friends nearby, and I'm always here in spirit!

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We purchased this house in 2013, inheriting a year-round renter. In 2020, we began a complete overhaul. As these things go, it took more than a year, but what a beautiful house it now is! The "cottage" was built in 1941 and I'm guessing some of the palm trees date that far back. All our back-yard plants and trees are native.

We are south-facing, so get tons of sun, and our water view is wide. To the west, you see the city's nature preserve and a lovely stand of mangroves. Because of the trees and lot location, the yard feels extremely private and natural. There's also a lovely paved area with natural gas grill -- no need for propane tanks! From the back yard you'll see all kinds of birds and likely dolphins and, in warm months, even manatees if you're lucky! Because our street ends with a cul-de-sac, traffic is minimal. The beach is a 5- to 7-min walk away.
